Chapter 14- Kisses and Disses
I knocked on the door of the Lockwood's house.
Mrs. Lockwood smiled and opened it.
"Hey Tatum" she opened it all the way and I walked in.
She shut the door behind me.
"Thank you for coming so last minute. I just have a work meeting".
I shrugged "Ya no problem".
"Zoe! Tatum's here!" Marie yelled up the staircase and Zoe came running down.
She ran up and hugged me "Tatum"! She cheered.
"Hey Zoe" I squated down and hugged her, then standing back up.
I saw River walk in.
He raised an eyebrow "Crawford"?
"Tatum is babysitting Zoe for the night, since I can't leave you with each other, since you're both troublemakers" Marie said.
River smirked "Whatever" and walked away.
Marie sighed and called "River! Come back here!"
River groaned and walked back.
Marie placed her hands on her hips "River I need to talk to you, now".
Then they both went to the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen and my mom crossed her arms.
"River what's wrong"?
"Nothing" I exclaimed frustrated.
She narrowed her eyes at me "River, don't lie to me".
I sighed "Fine. Its the same thing. I still love her."
She sighed "River-sweetie theirs something more that......that I dont know"?
I rubbed my temples "I kissed Tatum at the Halloween party, when she was drunk".
My mom frowned and hissed "River, she has a boyfriend"!
I rolled my eyes.
My mom said "I have to go, but no chasing her till she is SINGLE, River. Bye". Then walking out.

Marie left.
Zoe asked "May I have something to eat? Pweeasee"?
I smiled and nodded and brought Zoe into thr kitchen.
I saw River sitting in there, frustrated.
"You okay"? I asked
He looked up and his eyes met mine.
"Yeah. I'm fine."
He's not, but I dropped it.
Zoe asked "Can I have.........cereal?
I nodded then picking Zoe up and placing her on the marble counter.
I got a bowl, cereal, spoon, and cereal out.
I gave it to her to eat and she smiled "Thank you!" then eating.
My phone started to buzz.
It was on the kitchen table.
I went to grab it but River did before me.
He smirked and dangled my phone in front of me.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
He looked at it, then looking pissed off.
