Hebridean waved farewell to the dragons. They flew back towards their home, to the Hebrides. It would be a long journey, but they were ready. He fingered the small pipe they had given him. How they hadn't crushed it, he didn't know.
"Hey... Hebridean?" Hebridean spun round, face to face with Musculier. "I was wrong about you. You... well, you will never match me in spells or stuff like that but..." he smiled, "I guess you're better in other ways." Hebridean smiled right back.
"You did pretty well yourself, Musculier." With that he went to join his friends.
"OMG! Oh, Hebridean, you were so brave! And you were AMAZING! The spell casting teacher CAN'T give you a Z- now!" Amaterasa flung herself around him.
"Yep! Great work, Heb," said Hermes, munching on some chips in celebration.
Hebridean went over and picked up Magpie. "I owe it to you, little wise-stalker. How in the world did you know about the colour-picking challenge anyway?"
Magpie blushed. "Well-"
"My little sister just hacked a few brains like muggles would a computer," Krishna put in. Magpie opened her mouth in protest, then just nodded. Hebridean laughed. He knew he owed it all to his friends.
