"Bruce Wayne the billionaire playboy has found interest in a small reporter from Smallville!"

"You've heard of Bruce Wayne? Well have you heard of his boyfriend Clark Kent?!"

"Gotham's Playboy and Metropolis's reporter find love!"

All through the week newspapers were littered with articles about Bruce and Clark's relationship. They've been dating for around a year now but only recently their love was made public. Neither of them wanted to make it public yet but they were spotted on a date at a well-known restaurant and soon they were all over newspapers.

At around 3pm everyone at the Daily Planet was talking to Clark. Asking him questions about his boyfriend or congratulating him, some even asking him when he came out as gay. He just explained that he's bisexual. A lot of people were curious of how he managed to land a rich boy like Bruce. Even Lois seemed happy with Clark's relationship, and Clark was surprised that she wasn't jealous (she probably was but was good at hiding it).

Clark was going to head home early but he didn't have anything really to do. Bruce was at conference party thing, Diana was on a mission and who knows what the rest of his friends and the league were doing. So Clark decided he could work some extra hours at work, he had a report to finish about solar power and solar panels.

Sitting at a desk typing blankly at his desktop he heard faint cry of help ring throughout his ears. Clark's brow creased as he tried to interpret the sound. The sound continued ringing through his ears, when you have super-hearing you hear a lot of weird sounds but this was...different.

"Superman! don't come! no!" The sound became clear. Clark was still confused someone must be broadcasting this, but only so he could hear it.

"No one else can hear this, come on down big blue. or Mr Wayne gets it!"

"No! Clar-- Superman no!"

Bruce? they have Bruce? These thoughts rushed through Clarks mind like a river. This was most likely a trap but he needed to save Bruce.

Clark scanned the office for anyone nearby, only three people were in the office all three with eyes fixed on a computer screen typing. Clark super-sped to the private stairwell flying down the steps and changing from Clark Kent to Superman in a matter of seconds.

Sneaking out the back to an alleyway outside the Daily Planet Superman shot up into the air and began tracking down the broadcast, the fuzzy signal still alternating between ears.

Usually if Batman was in trouble Superman would only intervene if needed, but Batman was not in trouble Bruce Wayne was. Bruce couldn't risk his secret identity by busting out sick moves, he had to play along pretending to be a helpless rich boy and that's why Superman had to help.

Superman dashed through the air and over to the Wayne enterprises building in Metropolis. Superman quickly scanned the building (gotta love x-ray vision) instead of crashing through walls.

At the top of the building was Bruce's office where he was bound up and gagged along with other businessmen and women. Surrounding the hostages were three gangsters waving guns around. Superman didn't understand why the gangsters went out of their way to broadcast a message to him and him only, but whatever he had to save these people.

Soaking up some sunlight quickly before he flew into the window at top speed and crashing through the glass and into the office.

"You called?" Superman smirked with a smug grin at the gangsters.

"Oh shit!" One of the gangsters dropped his gun on the ground and put his hands up.

"What are you doing" the gang leader lashed out at the other gangster.
