Seven Days (Pokeshipping 2015)

Day 6

                  

Well...just one more day now.

As much as I want to try to move on from my feelings, I just can't. I don't have a genie who I can ask to get rid of these feelings.

I have to rid of it myself, or I have to let it stay.

Getting rid of these feelings, however, is easier said than done.

I can't really forget easily, especially because he is my best friend.

Well...Brock is my best friend too, but still. He's more of a brother.

Ugh. I need to get out of this rut. I've been losing to a lot of gym challengers lately.

"Misty, wanna like talk?" I heard Daisy ask me as she sat beside me.

"I'm fine." I told her.

"You're not. I can see right through you. Come on. Tell your big sis." Daisy said in a more calming voice.

Unlike my other sisters, Lily and Violet, Daisy has been sticking around in the gym. She maybe as conceited as my other sisters, but it is her who still knows if I have a problem or not. She's the one who I know deeply cares even though she can be annoying a lot of times.

"Your TBT photo was stupid." I spoke out.

"No, it's not. It has like 235 likes already!" Daisy replied. "Now tell me what is really bothering you."

I didn't really want to speak out.

"Misty. If it has something to do with Ash, just see what happens. Don't worry about it too much. You're just gonna miss him even more if you overthink about him. Besides, you're still young. You don't know what time will do to you both. You might meet others, and that's okay. That's life. You two will always be friends, Misty. He is like your best friend. Your first true friend. Nothing will take that away from you. So don't worry about him forgetting you. He will always remember you. And if he's really a jerk and he decides to forget about you, it's his loss. Don't put too much weight on your shoulders. You did everything you can. But for now, just give your mind a little rest." Daisy said.

I give. I have the best sister ever.

"Thanks, Daisy. I guess I have been thinking about him too much. I need to focus on more important things right now, like giving my challengers a tough battle!" I replied.

"Haha...nope." Daisy replied.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Because we're closing the gym again for two days!" Daisy exclaimed.

"What? Why?" I asked again.

"Geez, Misty. You don't know why? You have been so busy overthinking about you-know-who that you forgot what tomorrow is." Daisy said.

"What?" I asked.

"It's your birthday, silly." Daisy said.

Holy banana. She's right.

"I can't believe I forgot. But why do we have to close up the gym?" I said.

"Duh. We're gonna party!" Daisy exclaimed.

"It's my birthday, Daisy." I said.

"But...Mrs. Ketchum said that she was coming here to cook for your birthday! She's an awesome chef, you know." Daisy replied.

"I know that. Wait...Mrs. Ketchum's coming?" I asked.

"Well...yah. She's the one who said that we're going to have a party. She wanted you to have a big party. She wanted the party to be in Pallet Town, to be honest, but she wanted you to feel more at home." Daisy answered.

"Why is she suddenly in the mood to give me a big party?" I asked.

"I don't know, girl." She replied. "But never mind that. We have to find you a dress so that you'll at least look decent for your party."

"Hey! I'm not wearing a dress! I'll wear my normal clothes." I said.

"No you're not. We're shopping, and that's that. Now, let me get my purse. I might find something fabulous for me as well." Daisy said as she left to get her purse.

While waiting...I decided to check Pokebook. I noticed that Tracey had sent me a message.

Tracey Sketchit: Hey Misty. I'm sure Daisy has told that we'll have a party for your birthday, right? I can't wait. It's gonna be epic.

Misty Waterflower: Epic, huh?

Tracey was offline by the time I sent the message, so I decided to check the other posts of my friends.

Brock Harrison is feeling psyched
