Sarge and Donut led Y/N through the base and into a dark room. There appeared to be no signs of life, until a huge pile of blankets began to move, and a round, unshaven face poked out.

"Hello, my name is Y/N. You're Private Dexter Grif, correct?" She tried sounding professional as she made her way further into the room.

The man groaned.

"I'll take that as a yes." Y/N said. "Now can you tell me what exactly is wrong?"

"I feel sick." Grif mumbled.

No shit, Sherlock. "I'm going to need you to be more specific. Can you remember what you did before you became ill?"

"I found a jelly doughnut in the cupboard, then I ate it." He sounded like he was trying hard not to throw up.

"Do you know how old it was? Perhaps it was out of date." Y/N suggested.

"It was left over from Sarge's birthday party. Which was -" He had to stop and think. "- two months ago."

"That's disgusting. You've certainly got food poisoning then." She deduced, starting to feel nauseous herself.

"You'll have to pull me out then, right? I'll have to go back to Earth?" Grif sounded noticeably happier.

"Fortunately, no." Grif's joy dissipated almost as quickly as it had come. "You'll just have to throw it all up."

Grif groaned. "You're a doctor right? Can't you give me something to make it stop?" He pleaded.

"Oh no, I'm a medic. I can't authorise medicine." She explained.

Grif groaned louder and rolled back under his mound of blankets.

"If your symptoms worsen call for me, alright?" Y/N said, wanting to get out of there before it got messy. "I'll check on you later."

She didn't wait for him to reply. She closed the door as she exited and didn't look back. Donut was waiting outside, he linked his arm with hers and began leading her.

"Donut, where are we going?" Y/N asked.

"I have to show you around!" He answered excitedly.
