I'm Obviously Brokenhearted

Chapter 3

Nagmukmok ako ng ilang araw sa kwarto, sinigurado ko na yun na ang huling beses ako iiyak sa kanya at kapag nakita ko ulit si Xeno, tititigan ko siya sa mata para maisigurado ko sa sarili ko na nakapagmove on na ako sakanya. Ilang araw na rin akong hindi pumapasok sa trabaho, mukhang papagalitan na ako nito ni kuya.

*Tok Tok Tok*

"Sino yan?"

"Tao." Maikling sagot nito sa aking tanong.

"Pilosopong tao nga." Walang kibo kong isinabi at ibinuksan ang pinto at nakita ang bagong ligo kong bunsong kapatid na si Louie.

"You look like you've been eaten alive prick-." At bago niya pa man maitapos ang sasabihin niya, ay isinarado ko ang pinto ng malakas, yung tipong maririnig ito sa baba.

"Anong nangyayari?!" Sigaw ni Mama mula sa ibaba.

"Ma! Si Ate innaway ako, I was just knocking on the door when she slammed it shut on my pitiful face." Painosenteng sagot ni Louie.

'Umagang-umaga may bubwit na lintang nakasunod sa araw ko.'

"Erie, alam naming masakit na makita ang mga di inaasahan pero huwag mong idamay ang kapatid mo sa galit mo sa ex mo." Sermon ni Mama na nasa ibaba pa rin.

Wow, mga demonyong kapatid. I opened the door at naroroon pa nga si Louie, tumatawa. Kay sarap itapon sa ilog Pasig.

"Lil Bro scores again Nanny Erie." He said mockingly while sticking his tongue out.

"Makausap nga yung crush mo na kapatid ng bestfriend ko." I plainly said and slammed tge door shut atbhis face and locked it.

That look in his face was so pleasing my demons all the way through. Satisfy me more lil' good demons. I grabbed my phone and dialed. I put it on loudspeaker so that he could purposely hear it and feel threatened.

A mischievous grin formed on my face as it rings and eventually the call got on.

"Hello?" A grumpy tone greeted me as the usual.

"Oi Renz, can I talk to your lil sis about something?" I said and the door just started banging hard.

"Ate!" Sigaw ni Louie.

"Hoy, huwag mong sabihing nag-aaway nanaman kayo?" Mahinang sabi ni Renz at itinawa ko na lang bilang tugon.

"Siya nag-simula, di ako." I bitterly said.

"Eh kasi naman, sabi ko sayo, na hindi mo dapat I-date yung Xeno na yun eh, di ka naniwala sa bestfriend mo, ouch." Mangiyak-iyak niyang sabi at halatang nang pipikon rin ito pero deep inside, isang libong espada ang tumama sa aking puso at sa pride na rin.

Ang ganda ng pagcomfort nila talaga. Nakakamatay sobra.
Lumabas na ako saking kwarto at nakita ang isang iiyak na Louie.

"Erie, perfect score. Weeping Louie 0." I said in full mockery. Akala mo ah, di ka mananalo sakin.

We just sat around and ate breakfast with the family but I was too lazy to talk since my day is already ruined by the person who's beside me at the moment. So yeah, I just ate silently and they just looked at me intently which gave and me an awkward feeling as I took a bite of the hotdog.

"Ate, masarap?" Tanong ni Louie at nakaingisi ito ngayon, na siyang ikinainis ko nanaman. Kay batang-bata lumipad sa impyerno ang isip.

"Louie." Ma-awtoridad na tugon ng nanay.

Buti nga sakanya tsk.

Teka nga, ba't pati sa pagpunta ko sa mall kasama tong bubwit na toh?! I just sighed of the thought that I am babysitting a 19 yr old boy. Ako nga pala nagmumukhang bunso kasi nga sa matatangkad sila, perks ba yon? Mukhang hindi.

"Seryosong tanong, okay ka na?"

"Okay ba ako sa lagay na panira ka agad sa bagong gising ng nakakatanda mong kapatid ha?" Walang emosyon kong sabi na ikinatahimik na lamang niya bilang tugon pero di pala.

"I'm talking about relationship wise not you waking up frickin dense as ever."

"At talagang nakakapanira ka ng araw."

Konti na lang at iiwanan ko na toh psh. Oh great, I just forgot what was I supposed to gonna buy in this place. I suddenly felt my phone vibrated and it was from Louie and abd the other one is... Xeno.

Louie : 'San ka na napadpad Ate?'

'I'm at the usual bookshop, see your butt here then.' I replied.

I blandly and questionably stared at the other notification which was from the cheater.

Xeno : 'Stop the fuck on following us."

I bickered on this kind of message, like my day couldn't get this worse? Is it huh?!

'Who the frickin fuck are you to make me drool and be a psychopatic obssessed stalker to the likes of a cheater like you? Oh yeah, congrats on being a hoe, you really deserve the title of being a hoe.'

I can feel my blood boiling like I just want to stranggle his neck and tell him his too egoistic narcissistic attitude which I got blind because of this freaking abnormal feelings.

I lifted my head and saw Louie, reading the reply that I sent to Xeno. I squinted my eyes as I foresee on how he was trying his best on holding back his laughter.

"So... kaya ka ba pumunta-" I cut him off and blurted out.

"NO, I have something to buy here for the Café and not for some worthless guy." Nakakapikon, sarap umiyak, walang naniniwala, eh kasi sa babae ka nga pala, sasabihing nagddrama ka lang tuwing umiiyak ka, saya eh noh? Lahat ng gusto mong gawin at dapat gawin may kahina-hinala.

"C'mon let's buy the stuffs you need." Louie just said while dragging my head to where the kitchenwares were. He just became anxious why is that though?

After several hours, I ended up buying enough food processors, knives and varieties of pans. I carried the lighter ones and Louie brought the boxed equipments. We went to the parking lot to store the things I have bought in order to prevent it from malfunctioning due to the possibility of dropping it accidentally.

"You hungry?" I asked Louie who was in a daze. I waved my hand at him.

"Uhm, care to repeat Ate?"

"Ang sabi ko kung gutom ka na ba batang bubwit?" I stated by syllable.

"Basta libre mo, why not?"
