In Grave Danger

For Queen,
For country,
For me,
For my family.

Putting one in a grave,
I have to be brave,
Close your eyes,
Be free from the lies.

Taking lives,
Just think of the good times,
It's all going to be alright,
Just hug your pillow tight.

Missing home,
Now feeling alone,
My eyes see it all,
As the wounded fall.

The blood seeps,
As winter creeps,
Shivering in my skin,
Put the dark thoughts in the bin.

Hold my gun close,
Put up the dose,
Take the aim,
Have no shame.

Walking on patrol,
And having no control,
The stares I receive,
Just make me want to leave.

The lives I take,
The performance I fake,
The smile I place,
On my sad and lonely face.

They just want to hurt me,
But still plea for mercy,
My mind runs,
As I hear the firing of guns.

I feel the pain,
No achievements I gain,
Just set me free,
I plea.
