This is goodbye and farewell,
I hope you don't miss me,
As much as I will miss you,
So goodbye, farewell my friend,
I'll see you next lifetime, once again,
I don't know whether I'll be in heaven,
Or whether I'll be in the depths of hell,
Either way I'll watch over you,
I'll care for you as you cared for me,
And I'll be waiting up here,
For when we meet again,
Because the time can't come soon enough,
Although I'm not there,
I'm still here.
