" Del if you make me late one more time I swear I'll make you walk!" Screamed Nick

Oh calm yourself

" It's the first day of school. I have to look my best or what's the point" I screamed down to my best friend

Okay well Nick has been my best friend since kindergarten and still is. He's a pain in the ass but that's okay. I finish up and look at my outfit which is amazing. It was a floral dress with a jean jacket and black flats. My hair loose curls framed my face.
I soon walked downstairs to find Nick eating a donut. I laugh to make my presence known. He looks up nods his head and then continued to eat.

I grab a granola bar and my back pack.

" Are you coming or not?" I yell from the door.

He is soon following me to his car.

" Why did you get dressed up?? You normally just wear joggers and a some random top."

"Its the first day of school and I want to look good. Is that a problem?" I ask

" no." Nick says

The rest of the ride was silent. We soon arrived to the place I call hell. Others may call it school. I was sort of nervous but not really. I tell nick thanks and go to get my schedule.

I have English first and then Algebra I. So I head to English

The lady was short and had dark brown hair that went to her shoulders. I soon sat near the back since all the back seats were taken. I pull out a notebook and my pencil case. As i wait for the class to start I see Nick walk in. I smile as he sits next to me.

Nick was a dork till the end of middle school but then high school came and now I guess he's "cool". He wasn't invisible nor was he extremely popular. Same goes with me but I'm a little more invisible than him.

Class soon started which meant that summer was officially over. I liked school but I didn't like being stressed from school. Nick kept making weird eye contact with this girl. I think her name was Mary or something. I rolled my eyes at his stupidity. In my eyes All boys are stupid. We had to write a paper about what we did that summer.

I went to a beach house with my cousins for the whole summer. I would rather not tell about that since there was alot of partying. Don't worry because I only went to make sure my cousins didn't end up doing something stupid. I'm probably the most mature 15 year old your ever gonna meet.

Class finally ended. Thank the heavens because my paper was really boring to write.

" Del!!!! " I hear nick scream down the hallway

" what?" I ask

" do you think I should ask Mary out?" He asks me

" if you want. I don't really know her so I can't say anything." I say as I walk to Algebra I

" ugh. Talk to you later. " he says as he sprints away to another building.

She takes a random seat and pulls out her math binder.

If anyone is confused Nick is 16 and he was put in a lower grade because of when his birthday falls.

I didn't really pay attention because it was just procedures.

I just doodled so if there's ever a fire I'm going to Die because I have no idea what to do. Oh well.

I look at my schedule and see that I have. I have biology. Ew.

They have assigned seats on the board and I'm right in the middle. I look to see who my partner was and of course it was brett. Oh he was pretty annoying in my eyes. Also he was pretty darn gorgeous too. Shhhhh I never said that. I sit down and see Brett walk in. He sees where he's sitting and gives me a nasty look.

If we weren't on school property I would flip him off. Reason why I didn't was because the teacher was right behind him and I didn't want detention on my first day. He sat down and was about to say something but the teacher cut him off. Thank God.

" We will be starting with a project. A partner project." He says

Hold the phone. I'm not working with this attractive asshole.

" it will be graded periodically. You'll be graded on the following. Your idea. How well you research. How well you work with one another and some other things along the way. They're surprises."

No no no I suck at Bio. Okay well I might as well just have an F

" I guess your stuck with me." I hear brett say in my ear. He was really close to me.

I roll my eyes and listen to the teacher or at least tried. Brett was tapping his pencil repeatedly. I wanted to grab the pencil and Chuck it all the way to Mexico. I don't know how I'm going to get through this project.

Class was finally over. I was almost done with school. Not really but a girl can dream. I carried on through the rest of the day.

-Time skip-

I walked up the stairs to my room. Nick was downstairs searching for his one ture love. Food. I threw my bag down and pulled out my phone. My cousins texted me but I wasn't in the mood to reply.

" YES GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!"

I laugh at Nicks love for food.

He is soon on my bed devouring the cookies. I snapchat this because why not .

I had some homework because my teachers hate me. I finished that up pretty quickly. Nick fell asleep. His black hair was a mess which was funny because always looked nice.

My mom came home and made me Mac and cheese. My brother came home late because of soccer practice. We all ate in silence. We weren't very close because we all had different things going on so we didn't really get to hang out. My dad was always away on business trips and stuff. He missed my 8th grade graduation.

My brother was a senior so I would always ask him for help with school. He was pretty stellar at his school work as well as soccer.

I cleaned up since the test of my family had things to do. I went upstairs and Nick was still asleep. I woke him up.

" Why the frick would you wake me up?!" He said

" Cause you have to do homework and I don't need you up at 1 am searching my house for food."

" that only happened once."

" You were sleep walking and knocking everything off the shelves."

He shrugged and went to the bathroom.

I changed into pj pants and a sweatshirt since my parents would freeze us out. I climbed into bed and fell asleep.
