Ponyboy's Imagine (Requested by fantasygirl17)

*Ponyboy's POV*

Today is the day I'm finally going to ask Megi out. Megi and I have been best friends for a very long time, but its recently that I have developed feelings for her. She just so beautiful. The way her long brown hair falls over her shoulders and her dark brown eyes glow. I already know I am in love with her.

Right now I'm sitting in living room, along with the gang excluding Megi. I wish she were here now. I can just imagine her leaning against a tree watching the sunset while reading a book.

"Hey, Soda can I...um-well talk to you?" I said stuttering.

"Yeah sure, bud," he said patting my shoulder and walking into the bedroom we share. "What's up?" he asks sitting in the bed.

"Well," I start. "You know Megi?"

"Of course I do," he says laughing like I'm an idiot.

"Well, I kinda like her," I said looking down at my lap. "I'm just not sure how to ask her out."

"I actually called her and her brother over today, ask her then. Take her to watch a sunset tomorrow or some shit that you guys like to do," he said lightly punching my shoulder.

"It's not 'some shit' it's something we really enjoy doing," I defended.

"Exactly," he smiled.

"Anyways, thanks Soda."

*Later That Night*

I'm anxiously waiting for Megi to arrive. I am so nervous, I'm pacing back and forth.

"What's got you all shooken up?" Dal asked grabbing my shoulder.

"N-Nothing," I lied.

He shrugged and walked off to the kitchen.

"Knock, knock," I heard a girl's voice sing.

It's her. Oh no. I can't do this. I have to. C'mon Ponyboy pull it together.

I slowly walked over to the door revealing Megi and her brother.

*Megi's POV*

"Hey Pony!" I shouted enveloping him into a hug.

"Hey Megi," he greeted with a wide smile. "I have to talk to you," he said signalling to a room.

"Yeah, sure," I exclaimed.

I followed him over to his bedroom and hopped onto his dresser.

"What's up?" I asked breaking the silence between us.

"Megi, I was wondering if you wanted to watch a sunset with me tomorrow?" he said staring at his feet.

"Sure, Pony! I'd love to!" I said smiling widely. "I love hanging out with my best friend."

"Megi, I mean more than frineds."

"Oh," I said a little shocked. I then smiled, "That makes it even better," while pecking his cheek.

*The Next Day*

I'm nervously walking over to Pony's house for our date. I've never thought of Ponyboy as more than a friend, but since yesterday it's got me thinking. Maybe I do like Ponyboy.

I was so concentrated in my thoughts I didn't even realize someone following me from behind.

I turned around and stopped dead in my tracks. It was a Soc.

"C-Can I help you?" I stuttered.

"Yeah, you can why don't you come back with me and we can have a little fun?" he said wiggling his eyebrows disgustingly.

"I don't think so," I replied.

"It wasn't a choice," he whispered.

He then quickly grabbed my wrist tightly and pulled me away.

"Let go of her!" Ponyboy yelled running as fast as he can and punching the guy square in the jaw.

The guy dropped to the floor and holding his jaw. He took one more glace at us before, getting up and storming off.

"Ponyboy, you saved me!" I exclaimed hugging him tightly.

"Are you okay?" he questioned pulling back.

"Perfect," I replied pecking his soft lips.
