Decisions: [Chapter 1.10]

Hey guys, I'm back, I don't feel too better but I missed writing and I felt like some of you are having panic attacks over part two. Well, I hope you're happy now!

Alex's POV:

I woke up to the brightest of lights. God, is that you? I thought. I tilted my head to the right and saw nothing but white. I looked to the left and saw only darkness. Finally, I looked above and saw faces staring at me. I screamed but no noise came out. It was my parents. How could this be?

"Alex, honey, it's me, mommy" said my mother with a warm smile. I glanced over at her with fear in my eyes. She whispered in my ear and disappeared. That was odd... extremely weird. Am I dead?

Suddenly, my dad appeared again and told me something that confused the hell out of me, "Choose wisely my dear, stay with us or go back to hell." What did he mean by 'go back to hell'. Does he believe in the theory that hell is on Earth as well? This is some serious insidious shit. Then, he disappeared again and I woke up again, only to heavy panting.

"Babygirl! You're awake, oh my god, thank you Jesus" said Uncle Matt with tears of joy.

"Your niece is a fighter, sir, we almost lost her" replied the Nurse. I grab my phone and check my messages.

Ricky: Hey...

Ricky: We need to talk...

Chris: Alex... I have something to tell you... please bare with me. Okay, ever since Junior year, I've been in love with you. I love you to pieces, more than anyone or anything I've ever known. Lately, I've been upset because I found out that you feel the same way I feel... but towards Ricky... and that breaks my heart. That's the reason I did some stuff... I'm sorry. I'm such a coward, I got pissed at you today and left you in the ER but I'm still here. I'm in the cafeteria... I really hope you wake up... I'd love to see your beautiful smile again... and those precious eyes. Well, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll only come in if you allow me to. I wanted to say this in person but I'm too much of a pussy to tell you. Hopefully, you forgive my dumbass and we can go back to what we started off as... even if it's not what I want. Love you darling. <3

Ghost: LEXIE MY BABY ARE YOU OKAY?!

Ghost: ANSWER ME

Ghost: HOE IF YOU DON'T ANSWER ME I'LL BLOCK YOU ON TUMBLR!

Ghost: Are you even awake...?

Ghost: Oops... luv ya.

Jessica: I hope you die, stupid bitch.

Ryan: Alex, I hope everything is okay, Allie and I are praying for you. We can't go to the hospital because we went out of town but we'll be there soon.

Balz: Please wake up, I can't lose my best friend... :(

I answer back to all of my messages but leave Chris's for last. It took me a while to read it, but I read it over and over again and I nearly bawled as I replied and told him to come in. Around 7 minutes later, he arrived with some apple juice and he gave it to me. I half smiled as I chugged it down. I asked my uncle to leave for a bit so Chris and I could talk. He left and Chris took his seat.

"Look, I'm sorry for everything, I don't want to be a burden I ju-" he said as I shut him up. I gave him a look and he leaned in so I could give him a hug. We stayed locked in that place for a good two minutes before breaking up to talk about it. Finally, around 40 mins later, we stopped and I told him to lean in again so I could kiss him on the cheek. He blushed and he left to the bathroom. I rested my eyes for a minute and heard the door open again. With my eyes still closed I congratulated Chris on peeing quicker than a diabetic dog. But, then I heard a different voice and opened my eyes. It was Ricky.

"Ricky... what are you doing here?" I asked with a scared look on my face. He looked back and said, "I said we needed to talk... and thankfully now that you're awake we can."

I smiled at him and as soon as he was about to speak, Chris walked in and gasped a little.

"I can come back later Alex, if you want.. uh bye" he said as he rushed out.

"No, Chris wait" I said as I tried to chase after him but the needles injected to me forced me to stay put.

Ricky looked over at the cords and told me to calm down as he started to rant about some shit he learned in college... this'll be a long talk.

Twenty minutes later, he stopped his lecture and went back to the topic.

"So about Jessica... I-" he said as I started to listen in depth.
