So its the week before Christmas break, and everybody's pretty hype besides the last minute exams. So today, imma be chilling at Stephanie's house. I didn't know she lived across Jacolby.
We saw them outside and spoke to them.
" Hey Mak10 & Clayko. Wat y'all out here doing."
" Nothing , just chilling what about you.", Jacolby said.
"Look we gotta go, we'll see y'all later.", Clayko said
They slick been acting suspicious lately, but anyway.
" Girl you getting big, I told you bout eating school lunches."
I looked down in shame. "Its not the school lunches...... I'm pregnant." I finally admitted. Stephanie stopped in her tracks. "You serious?! Is Demarcus the dad. When did y'all even?....", she asked.
" Look I haven't seen him since the night it happened, and it wasn't planned. He ....." I began to tear up. "He r... Raped me." I burst out in tears. She rushed over to me comforting me in her arms, almost if she knew what it felt like. "Please tell me you've told your mom. Please say you did." She begged. "No, I haven't told anybody, my sister almost caught on to me, but I tricked her. But every since it happened I can't even imagine talking about it. I just can't." I explained.
" Its not like its your fault...." By this time were in front of her apartment door, her mother is still at work, but doesn't have a problem with me being over.
" It's not like it's your fault. YOU WERE RAPED, FUCKED AGIANST WILL, HE COULD GET LIFE IN PRISON. I'm sorry, but if you don't tell your mom AND a police officer.... I will."
I'm not ready for all this. People in my face asking questions, then on top of that being a mother.
"This isn't what, I thought high school would be like. I'm just a freshman and I'm already going through this shit." I ranted.
" I understand you don't want all this attention, but you gotta pull somebody besides me. Somebody who can actually do something about it." She was right.
" Fine your right, but not right now, I'll wait til she gets off work tonight."
