"Doctor Hillary, Elena Gilbert has awoke from her coma." Said the nurse as she made her way frantically into a patients room after a long search for the Doctor.
"Elena Gilbert is awake? After 4 years?"
The Doctor asked. The nurse nodded quickly. The Doctor left the patient with an 'I'll be back soon' and followed the nurse the Ms.Gilbert's room.
The nurse knocked before entering. There, on the white sheeted hospital bed, lay Elena Gilbert. She looked to be in shock.
"Ms.Gilbert?" The Doctor asked as he unsurely walked towards the patient.
Elena made no attempt in replying. It was as if she didn't even here the Doctor speaking, or hear them enter her room.
"Ms.Gilbert, do you know why your here?"
The nurse asked as she checked her vitals. Her blood pressure was a little high, but other than that she was stable.
The Doctor waved his hand in front of the patients face. Nothing happened. He then grabbed his Doctor's light and shine sit in her eyes. Her brown eyes stayed in place. Her pupils didn't even dial-ate. The Doctor let a frown deep into his face as he put in light back into his white coat pocket.
"Nurse McCall, let's schedule an MRI as soon as possible please. She might have be awake but that doesn't all of her brain is fully responsive."
"Yes Doctor."
