Chapter Eleven

After Elena, Stiles, and Scott left the graveyard, they took Elena to eat. Meaning they drove to the woods, parked, and let her run off after a squirrel, or five...ok it was ten but in her defense they were small.

She came back to the two leaning on Stiles' jeep wiping the corner of her mouth to erase any trace of blood.

"So," Elena cleared her throat. "About school and control...do you really think I can do it?" She asked looking like a hurt puppy.

"Honestly I think only you can answer that question. Do you think you can do it?" Scott asked starring into Elena's eyes.

Stiles answer before she can. "I know you can." Elena looks at Stiles and smiles brightly before letting out a chuckle.

"Me too."

What was funny is that after deciding to let Elena live with them, Melissa got a big smile that spread across her entire face. Scott knew she had always wanted a daughter and this was as close as she was going to get. That's not even the funniest part!

The McCalls and Elena Gilbert have similar qualities. They all have tan skin, brown eyes, dark brown hair, and nice jaws. Even though Scott's is a little off center, it's still sharp.

"Wakey wakey eggs and bakey!" Elena groaned at the sound of someone's voice booming in her ears.

"What do you want at this hour?" Elena groaned.

"Sweety it's almost lunch. I should've woke you earlier but I thought you could use sleep...now that I think about it that was a stupid thought." Melissa sighed.

"But anyway, you should get up and get ready!" She beamed as she set the glass of orange juice on the side table in the guest bedroom, where Elena would now reside.

"Why is that?" Elena asked as she sat up, yawned and started to drink her juice.

"Because I'm taking you shopping! You have no clothes except mine and no offense but I like to wear my clothes too." They both enjoyed a morning, or afternoon, laugh.

There was a moment of silence before Elena spoke.
"Thank you, Mrs.McCall."

"No need to thank me sweety, it's the least I can do." Melissa smiled.

"Not just for shopping. But also for taking me in and, I know I was in a coma for four years but I could hear your voice talking to me like...you knew me like I was, your own daughter. I remember you running your fingers through my hair and humming...those times were the best times I've had in those four years. You made the coma a lot better of an idea. So thank you so so much. I can't even begin thank you enough." Elena smiled with tears gathering in her eyes.

"You can call me Melissa."

"Ok so I was thinking that maybe we can go to the mall first because they have a huge forever 21 and I think you might really like their stuff. They also have a food court so we can get food. Then we can go get our nails done, their salon has such a big variety of nail polishes..."

Elena only smiles as Melissa goes on and on about their plans today. She can smell the excitement radiating off of her. It made her excited as well.

"They also have a Victoria secret and bath and body works and Claire's for cute little accessories..."

Elena and Melissa spent the whole day together. Laughing and getting to know each other. Even though there was a mother daughter bond already there, it grew stronger as the day progressed and they learned more about each other together.

They even went to see a movie when they saw they had time before Scott and Stiles had a time scheduled to see Elena.

Once Melissa and Elena got back to the McCall house, they hung up and folded Elena's new clothes and shoes and accessories.

They played music and danced around as they did so, laughing and continuing on a good day.

They were done unpacking and were seated on Elena's bed with content smiles on their faces.

Elena rests her head on Melissa's shoulder and sighs happily at her mother figure.

"Thank you once again Melissa. This is was the best way to awake from my coma."

"You can call me mom."

Awe cute mom and daughter moment. Love.
