Dylan Cooper's point of view
"Is that too obvious?" I asked nervously. Hoping that he would say no and maybe tell me that he just noticed because he is just a guy as well.
"Actually, yes."
I face palmed.
If it's too obvious to him, how obvious would it be to Lianna? Considering that we spend each and everyday with each other then it would be ultra mega super obvious.
Good thing she's ultra mega super naive.
"Also, she doesn't know." I told him, More like bragged.
He looked at me as if he's ultimately unsatisfied with my lie. "Well, I don't know if she knows. All I know is she's naive and she just doesn't want to consider it."
"What will you do?" He asked, as if he was so interested in my love story.
Although I'm not sure if this love story will really do end up with love.
"I want her to fall in love with me too." It was the sad truth, I wanted to have the same love I was about to pour out. "But I don't know how." I said.
"And why would you want her to fall in love with you too?" He asked again.
Hot seat?
"Because no matter what, I want her to be happy. And I want her to be happy with me." I said.
Smooth answer, Dylan. Just like a puny beauty queen. Haha.
"Isn't she happy with you being as her best friend?" He asked.
Damn.
That's a hard one.
"I know she is." I said.
"Then she's already happy with you then." He said. "All you need to do is to stop making her love you as her best friend and to start loving you yourself." He said.
"What do you mean?"
"Stop acting like her best friend." He said. "I know you wouldn't want to stay just as her best friend."
"Then what should I act?" I asked.
"Act like her crush. So she'd want you to be her boyfriend." He said. "I mean, Everyone wants to end up with their crushes."
"Act like Dylan Cooper." He ssaid with a proud tone. "Everyone wants to end up with Dylan Cooper."
"Okay," I said.
"You're not just someone's best friend. You're also someone a lot of pretty teenagers adore."
He hands me boxes of pizza. "Well, I hope I helped." He said.
I paid him for the pizza and told him to keep the change.
He thanked me and left.
I get it now.
Thats the exact same thing Cynthia told me.
I rushed upstairs to give her the boxes of pizza.
When I set my foot on the third floor, she was falling asleep and when she finally is, she wakes up like a baby. She must be very drowsy.
She's so cute.
"Hey." I whispered to her ear when I sat next to her.
I wrapped my arms around her and let her make my chest her pillow.
"I have your pizza." I chuckled quietly.
Her eyes flew open with enthusiasm. "Thank you." She took it with a kiss on my cheeks.
