《Bella》
I'm sitting in the backseat of my parents car ignoring their lecture of how I should only worry about my studies and not to not let any boys get into my way. They're so strict. All they worry about is my Grades. It's like they don't care about my well-being. One time my dad's boss had invited us over for dinner and my parents got into an argument over who's daughter had the highest GPA. My dad and his boss started fighting and let's just say things didn't go that well for him and his job. His wife kicked us out and told us we're not welcomed there anymore. Since then my parents brag about me to their friends.
My mom is the type of lady who doesn't need a man to make her happy. She only got married to my dad because she got pregnant with me. She's just a really independent women and I congratulate her for that. Cause' some women out here think they need a man to be happy and they get really depressed. Now that I'm going away to college they could've easily gotten a divorce but they are in-love.
Now my dad that's a different story he actually needs a woman to make him happy. He practically begged my mother to marry him. If she hadn't have married him he'd probably be on the corners asking for money like the homeless people on 95th street are, using his $5.00 to buy a case of beer every 24hours. He's very cocky too and a know it all.
I look out the window watching the rain make little drops on it. I finally zone back into the lecture they're still having.
"Bell you're going to learn so much at this school! Trust me we both did." My dad says proudly.
"Oh okay. Is it any fun though?" I ask looking at both of them.
"Bella this isn't about having fun, you're only here to learn things and to become successful in life okay! You are not allowed to make any friends. The only friends you'll be making are those text books that are $300.00 each! Now be grateful for goodness sake." My dad says looking at me through the rearview mirror.
I roll my eyes. "That's not fair!! You never let me do anything! You won't let me drive, you won't let me cook, you won't let me date! You guys treat me like I'm a child I'm 18 years old!! I can take care of myself!"
"BELLA SCOTT DO NOT ARGUE WITH ME!! There are absolutely no reasons as to why you need a boyfriend at this age! I don't care how old you are! If you think you can take care of yourself then I'll stop your credit card and you figure out where your next meal is coming from!" He yells back.
"Mom!! How are you just going to let him talk to me like this say something!" I frown folding my arms.
"Bella he's right you don't need to be dating at this age." She shrugs her shoulders.
"You guys are so unfair it's unbelievable" I laugh shaking my head.

We finally arrive at the University where I'm being forced to go. I get out the car, my parents following me. My dad grabs my bags out the trunk and sets them down.He reaches out for a hug as his eyes get watery. I hug him and pats his back. "Dad it's okay I'll be back home soon for holiday."
"I know sweetheart but your mother and I are going to miss you so much" he sniffles and kisses my cheek.
"I'll miss you guys too." I smile pulling away from the hug. I turn to my mother and she hugs me tightly. She begins to cry, which makes me start to cry.
"I love you so much baby girl. I really do." She smiles wiping my tears off my face.
" I love you too mom, I'm going to miss you so much." I smile as she kisses my forehead.
"It's going to be boring without you Bella. You know how boring your father is." We both look at him while laughing.
"Well we should leave and let you settle in." My dad says. "Just remember no boys in your dorm and to focus on your grades!" I roll my eyes.
"Alright dad I understand. You've said it like a billion times."
I walk to the door and turn around. They're gone just like I thought. I sigh as walk to the office.I see a lady sitting at a desk and I walk towards her.
"Hi I was wondering where I could get my key from?" I ask nicely.
"Right here Hun." She smiles, "what's your full name and date of birth?"
"Bella Ida Scott. And my date of birth is January 1st, 1997."
She smiles at me and and hands me my key. "Thanks." I grab it from her and walks towards the building with the dorms.
I look for the room number #389. I finally find it and I put the key in a walk in. I put my bags on the empty bed I'm guessing is for me. I look around on the other side of the room and find a lot of dark bags and clothes on the bed. Maybe my roommate doesn't like colorful things maybe she has a dark soul. I shrug and lay down.
I close my eyes but I quickly sit up as the bathroom door opens to a boy with a towel wrapped around his waist. He just stood there smirking at me. At that moment I realized that's for sure not a girl...
