Chapter 20: Choices

"Jason, or Adam?"
"Adam or Jason?" Tyler mumbled, pacing back and forth.
"When are you gonna stop that?" Steve's voice came from behind Tyler. "When I know who to choose..." Tyler sighed and sat down on the grass. They were sitting on a hill, by the beach.

"Make a pros and cons list. That's what I do." Steve explained and grabbed a stick. He carved into the dirt the letter "A" and "J"
"Tell me a pro about Adam." Steve asked.
"He for sure would take me...."

"Now tell me a con about him." Steve said, writing in the dirt an "A".

"I don't trust him completely." Tyler mumbled. Steve wrote "Trust" under the list.

They kept going until Adam's list was full. "Now tell me about Jason."

"Someone different to talk too. Con is that I don't know him too well." Tyler said quickly.

"K......."

"Jason is also, shy, and adorable."

"Ok..."

They kept going with Jason's list until his was full too.
"Who's your pick Tyler?" Steve asked.

Tyler's mind wandered. Jason was the obvious choice, but he couldn't hurt Adam like that.

Tyler suddenly ran off, towards the cabins. "Tyler?" Steve called, watching him leave.

"Hey Adam!"

"Yeah Jas?" Adam called, watching Jason walk up to him.

"Your not dating Tyler, riiigggghhhhttttt??" Jason asked.

"No, not right now..." Adam sighed. Jason gave Adam a confused look. "Ok.." He said.

"So have you heard from Ian lately?" Jason asked, quickly changing the subject.

"No, I haven't... What's going on?" Adam asked curiously.

"Ian's got a girlfriend!"

Adam smiled. "FINALLY!!!"
Jason nodded. "I know! Who knew that Nyan and Ian would fit so well together?"

"Wait.....Nyan?" Adam asked.

"Yup!" Jason declared.

Jason suddenly looked down on his phone.

"What is it?" Adam asked, being the curious guy he is.

"I gotta go. Cabin needs cleaning." Jason said quickly and ran off.

T- Hey, can we talk?

J- Sure

J- Where do you want to meet?

T- I don't know

T- your cabin?

J- Sure on my way

Jason ran to the cabin.
His heart was pounding.
He wanted to see Tyler, but was worried about what he'd say.
Would he lecture him about the little waterfall mishap?

He went in to see Tyler talking to Ty on the floor.

"Well, thanks for understanding Ty." Tyler said and Ty got up, and left the cabin.

"So, Tyler... What do you want to talk about?"
