Chapter 17 (LAST CHAPTER)

*Beginning of the next school year*
️Stevens pov-
"... Yea, I understand... That's great... Thank you so much sir, bye!" When I hang up the phone I run down the stairs and straight to the kitchen.

"Mama!" I don't realize that I screamed until she turn around and hits me with her newspaper "What's wrong with you boy? Scaring your mother like that?!"

"Sorry Mama, but I just got a call from UK Highschool of Preforming Arts and they said they want me to go there!"
She looks at me like I'm crazy "The UK?"

"Yea Mama I know it's far and you probably don't want me too-"

"What about Lane?" Fuck. "Oh shit, Ma I forgot about her in all the excitement. What should I do?" Im such a bitch.

"That's a really good school, I think you should go. I'm sure Lane will understand" Maybe. "Yea. I'll miss her so much though Mama" I say as a single tear falls from my eye."

"I know you will Steven. But, you've got to think about your future."She gets up off the stool she's currently sitting on and kisses my forehead. "..Think about it"

"I will, I will" I walk up to my room and decide to take a nap to clear my mind.

When I wake up in pretty sure I know what I'm going to do so I pick up my phone and dial the one person I need the most right now.

"Hey, baby. We need to talk... No in person... Okay see you then." As I wait for her too get here i pace in my room and eventually after what seems like hours I hear a knock on the door.

"I'm coming!" When I get there I take a deep breath and open the door to a pair off frosty blue eyes. "Hey! What did you need to talk about?" She kisses my cheek before coming in and taking a seat on my couch, I sit beside her.

"I... Um-I'mgoingtogotoschoolintheuk!"I rush out to a very confused Lane. "Your joking."

"No, I'm not baby girl. I'm so sorry but it's for my future and I hope you know that no matter what we'll never loose each other." And I'm not lying one bit. "I know."

"W-when are you leaving?"she lets a few tears stream down her cheeks but I'm quick to wipe them sways before they reach here chin. "The dean says they'll enroll me on Friday."She lets out a quiet sob.

"That's in three days, so you'll have to leave by at least tomorrow night to get there on time." Now it's my turn to let a few tears fall "Yea" I whisper, barely audible.

After that we just stayed cuddled up in my couch until I had too leave, enjoying each others presence.

When the time for me too leave finally came. Me and Lane where both very, very upset but I'm pretty none of us have any tears left so we just have one last hug. One last kiss. And after 10 minutes of prolonging the inevitable. We say one last goodbye in person before I leave to the UK....
