The Next Day...

Abigail woke to the sound of somebody calling her name. She opened her eyes with a groan and climbed out of bed. "Come on sleepyhead! We have a whole day of exploring to get done!" a familiar voice called through the bedroom door. A large smile greeted her face and she opened the door to see her friend Lacey stood there looking as beautiful as ever in a flowy summer dress and perfectly curled blonde hair. "Lacey!" Abigail cried and hugged her friend tight. Lacey was actually her brother's fiancé's little sister and they had always gotten along as if they themselves were sisters.

"Hey Gale!" Lacey laughed and hugged her back, "Now hurry up it's already 1pm and I want to show you around!" She pushed Abigail back into the bedroom and headed towards the unopened suitcase. "You need something cute to wear, did you bring anything that isn't black?" she asked looking over her shoulder as Abigail looked at herself in the mirror by the door. Abigail poked her tongue out at the old joke, when they had first met, 5 years ago, Abigail refused to wear colour and it was something Lacey had never forgotten. "What does it matter what I wear? We're probably just going to end up in starbucks," Abigail replied and started on the rats nest that was her post flight bed hair.

"Well what if we see some cute boys huh?" Lacey asked with a grin, "now stop brushing your hair and go shower, you smell like a plane, I'll pick an outfit for you," Abigail grumbled under her voice and picked up her phone before heading to the bathroom across the hall. It was handy that her brother's fiancé, whose name was Ellie, liked to have cute door signs or she'd get lost in the huge house. Houses in England were puny compared to this.

Half an hour later...

"Good day to you fine fans, Gale here and I have found a friend!" Abigail said into the camera with the usual flare, "You all remember Lacey?!" She spun round and caught Lacey on the camera. Lacey laughed and waved at the camera, "I can't believe you're still doing those videos!" She cried. Abigail gasped "Take that back!" she wrapped an arm around Lacey's shoulders and looked at the camera, "Don't worry folks, I'll punish her for those rude words! Now we're going on an adventure! Will see you all when we get to starbucks!" She turned off the camera and clicked upload before letting Lacey go. "Lead the way," she added with a wink.

"Do you promise not to embarrass me with your camera?" Lacey asked leading the way out of the door as she fixed her hair. "I promise to not embarrass you if you stop being embarrassed by it," She responded adjusting the waistband her pale blue skinny jeans, "Did you have to pick something so...tight?" she asked referring to the fitted white tank top she usually only ever wore underneath things, "Can't I put one of my flannels over it?"

"You've got that figure I am not letting you hide it under baggy shirts!" Lacey replied grabbing Abigail's wrist pulling her the rest of the way from the bedroom, "Now come on or we'll get there as school is closing and you have no idea how annoying school kids are when they're trying to order starbucks,"

"But I always wear my flannel shirts!" she protested as Lacey dragged her down the stairs, "It's my signature thing! How will my fans recognise me?"

"That pretty face of yours of course! That shows up on camera too you know!" Lacey retorted, "Not to mention you have the whole British thing going for you, there aren't a lot of girls around here, if any, with that accent,"

"I don't want to be recognised by my face," she pouted but Lacey has already gotten her out of the door and into the sun. They hopped into Lacey's little red hatchback and proceeded towards the nearest starbucks.
