"I umm, Lacey didn't let me put it on, something about being unattractive," she mumbled and blushed. He knew who she was, how was that possible?!
"Wow your eyes really are that blue in person," he teased and handed her phone back, "And I disagree, your flannel shirts are very attractive," She blushed a darker shade of pink and stood up.
"I umm, I have to go," she said quickly and looked to Lacey who sighed and stood up to follow her a little ways away, "Lacey, come on lets go home,"
Lacey looked at her with a raised eyebrow and shook her head, "No way, I'm going to hang out with Leo some more, can't you just wait a bit longer?"
"Oh come on, I don't even know my way to the house," Abigail whined.
"Jefferson Lane, it's right round the corner," Lacey replied flatly, "But seriously don't get all camera shy now, just have some fun,"
"I don't get camera shy, I get guy shy," Abigail muttered, "Look don't worry I'll Google maps my way home, have fun," she replied and walked out.
"Abby! Don't be like that!" Lacey called after her but she simply ignored it and kept walking in the Florida heat.
5 minutes of random walking later a car pulled up next to her and the window rolled down. "GaleForceWinds!" Thomas' voice called from the vehicle excitedly.
Abigail looked to see him recording her on his phone and she waved to the camera with the usual grin on her face. He put his phone down and reached over to open the door. "Come on, let me give you a ride," he called.
She looked at him and felt a blush crawl onto her face, "No thank you, I'll be alright,"
"Are you sure?" he asked with a small knowing smile, "You've been walking the wrong way for 5 minutes,"
Abigail blushed even darker and sighed before climbing into the car. "I'm sorry, I'm not very good at...this,"
"What? Self navigation?" he asked and she laughed.
"No, human interaction," she told him and gestured with her hands at them. He nodded and leaned across her so their faces were very close. She went dark red.
"First things first, seat belt," he said and pulled the belt down and clicked it in before moving back into the driver's side.
"You enjoyed that didn't you?" she asked once she could find words to talk and he winked over at her as the car began to move.
