Out of my Limit - Luke Hemmings

Chapter 4

We drove down the road. There was much traffic and it was hard to get through it all. I was about to go crazy when we finally stopped at the back entrance of the arena. Tarry looked at me, I looked at Tarry. We smiled at each other and fangirled on the inside. We're going to see 5SOS and 1D now!

We walked through the door. There was a big hallway. Lots of doors for dressing rooms at each side. 

"So, I'm gonna check where the boys are. Make yourself comfortable in one of the rooms." Simon told us and walked away with my dad. Tarry and I went through the hallway.
As we passed a door saying "Fab" we heard a voice from the inner side. And a guitar strumming. Someone sang "Lego House". I realized it was Luke Hemmings! Yes, THE Luke Hemmings. I looked at Tarry and let out a little squeak. I smiled at her like an idiot.

"Spying at our door?" someone said behind us. 

We jumped and turned around, seeing Calum standing behind us. We looked at him, I bet he thought that we were crazy or something. Well, we are but... 

"Um.. H-Hi. Um.. No we were just walking" I stuttered. He looked at me funny. 

"So, who are you walking around girls then?" Calum asked. 

"Well, I'm Aimée and that's my best friend Tarry. Before you ask how we get here .. We didn't kill a security guard or something I swear! It's just..." 

"we've got VIP Tickets to check you out." Tarry said instead of me. I shot her an angry glance. She always talks shit when it comes to boys. I could kill her right now. I was just defending us, so Calum wouldn't call Paul or someone else. I bet he's around. 

"So, hi! I'm Calum. As you know I think. And, if you'd like to check us out, come in into our changing room. You can flirt with the other ones, 'cause if not, they will get jealous." Calum told us, smirking. 

He walked past us and opened the door of the changing room. He made an inviting gesture and as we didn't walk or something he took our hands and dragged us in. Wow. The room was very big. There was a big mirror, some stools, a big couch and a TV. On the couch sat Luke, Michael and Ashton were playing on the X-Box. 

"H-Hi" I said, but it wasn't more than a whisper. They looked at us confused and Calum began to introduce us. 

"Dudes, this are Tarry and Aimée. They didn't shot a security, but got VIP Tickets for checking us out. So be nice and say Hi, so you'll get a girl" I looked at him, embarrassment clearly visible in my face. 

"Shut up, Calum! Only Tarry's here to check somebody out! I would never do this!" I said and all of the boys started to laugh. 

I looked at them, when my eyes were totally hypnotized by Luke. He looked so adorable. His messy, blonde hair, his smile and eyes. It all looked perfect on him. Unpredictably, he turned his head and his blue eyes met my green ones. It seemed like forever, looking into his eyes, but it were only seconds. I looked at the ground and heard a little laugh from him. I looked up again and saw Tarry sitting onto Calum's lap, playing X-Box. 

'Wow girl.' was all I thought. I realized that Luke was looking at me again so I turned my head to him. He patted the seat next to him and I gratefully took it. He started to sing and play "Lego House" again and it just took all my breath. 

When he finished with a last strum I heard me saying "Can I get the guitar, please?". Omg did I really say that. God no! I'm not a good singer nor a good guitar-player. But soon I hold the guitar in my hands. I began to play a few chords. I thought back to the song, my dad sang for me as I was feeling lost and ugly. It was "Fuckin' Perfect" by P!nk. I began to play the right chords and started to sing. I felt all eyes on me. It made me look down, look concentrated at the guitar and try to sing the right notes.

"Pretty, pretty please

I sang the last words and tears started to form into my eyes. This song reminds me of so much. I just can't. 

"Wow, that was amazing!" Luke and the other boys told me. 

"Well, my best friend should become a superstar, eh?" Tarry asked, smiling at me. I clapped her on the shoulder.

"Boys, it's time for stage now!" one of the people with headsets and clipboards said. 

Luke and the others got up and were about to walk out, when Calum said "You can stay here and watch the show on the TV. Make yourself feel home.". With that, they all were out. 

Just some seconds later, Liam walked into the room and said "Luke have you.. oh."

We just sat there, smiling at him, whild the other boys and Simon came into the room behind him.

"Well boys, I need to introduce you to somebody."

I took "Fuckin' Perfect" because it's a song, which means a lot to me. And it's easy to play on guitar :P
