Hey! Sorry it took me long to upload. I have been having a lot of things going on, but I just recently broke my toe, so I should have some more time to write.

Btw: This chapter has a lot of dialogue, but is necessary to the story

Chapter 3

“Wait hold on! Back up for a second. You are a what?” I yelled incredulously.

“We are werewolves. All of us are,” Rowen said with a straight face. This is the first time I have seen her so serious, so there could be no way she was lying. Could she?

“But werewolves are just ancient myths. I mean I know there are a lot of people who wish they do, but that doesn’t make it true.” I refused to believe this. It isn’t possible.

“Come on! You saw Logan change with your own eyes. Now you can’t argue with that.” And I couldn’t.

I took a side glance over to where Logan was standing, still only with the blanket since he hadn’t had a chance to change. And let me tell you, he looked damn sexy. His chest was exposed, showing his lean, hard abs that I wanted to touch so badly. His skin was a little tanned, despite how cold it was here. His light brown hair was all tousled after the struggle he had with that man. His grey eyes were alert, looking around everywhere, as a wolf would do while searching for danger.

I wanted to go over to him so bad, and feel his strong arms around me, and to run my fingers through his hair. I was about to take a step towards him, but reality hit me, and I stayed where I was looking back over to Rowen. This guy is seriously too distracting, it’s unfair.

“Ok well who was that guy and why did Logan attack him?” I asked.

“Noah.” Her eyes began to turn into a glare. “He is bad news. Not to mention a traitor. But we don’t have time to explain, we need to go now.” I was about to ask what she meant but she grabbed my arm and hurried me back around to the parking lot.

‘What are you doing? We can’t just leave school. My mom would kill me if she found out I would even think of ditching.” I said completely confused.

“Like I said, no time. We are going to your house. We will explain then.” Rowen pushed me into my car and climbed in to the passenger seat. I followed Rowen’s instructions and drove home. I really hope my mom won’t get mad seeing me come home.

On my way back home, I noticed Rowen typing furiously away at her phone. I was about to ask who she could be texting at a time like this till I remembered her saying we. I pulled into my driveway and prayed that my mom was home for lunch.

We walked into the house, and there my mom was in the living room. She looked over at the door, and a look of shock passed over her face as she noticed me walk in with an unknown girl.

“What is going on Scarlet? Who is this and why aren’t you at school?” My mom asked. I opened my mouth ready to explain everything that happened as best I could, but was cut off by Rowen.

“She knows about werewolves. She was attacked today by Nicholai at school.” Rowen said all previous cheerfulness gone from her voice.

“Oh no! My baby, is she ok? Is she hurt? Are there others? Do you…”

“Miss Anderson, calm down. She is fine and safe, for the moment,” For the moment! I thought. “There are others. I have informed them and they are on their way here. They should arrive soon.”
