Since the beginning of time we have always been asking ourselves the same question. What is our purpose in life? Why are we here? Our lives have always been about how we feel. Emotions and feelings. These are the things that shape our identity. One moment you feel like the happiest person in the world and the next you just want to curl up in a ball and never be seen again by another human being. I believe the biggest thing that impact these emotions and feelings are other people. When we are growing up in the world there will always be people there. For us humans this is one of the most important things in life, other people. These other people can effect us in a huge way, it doesn't matter where you are in the world it's the people that make a place. You could be surround by giant snowy mountains, you could be sitting on a beautiful white beach looking across an endless calm blue ocean and still feel absolutely shit. Because it's the people around that make you feel the way you do. The friends that make you laugh so much your insides hurt, your family that make you feel like your part of something really special, that one person that can make feel like no one else can. It's these people that have the biggest influence on your life. And what is the one thing we are all looking for in life? It's happiness. Some people look to get money, some people look to get famous and some people just look for power. But the one thing that we are all looking for is happiness. Since I was a child I've always searched for this one thing. I could care less about getting rich, about getting famous because the only thing I want to be is happy. I don't about the things I have, I care about the people around, the people that will make me happy. I think to much, so I write all my thoughts down. If I didn't write all of it down, I think I would actually go insane. So here it is all. All my thoughts written. This is the beginning, well actually my life started 16 years ago but I think that's beside the point. This is where I start writing down my life so I guess it is some sort of beginning,
Marcus
I closed my book and put my pen down. I looked up the small clock on the wall, only 30 minutes to go. Then I'll be able to get out of this hell hole.
"What are you doing Marcus?!"
I guess not. I looked up and saw my german teacher with her hands on her hips, expecting an answer from me.
"I'm doing my work?" I replied, hoping I wouldn't get in trouble.
She slowly walked over towards me. Why does this always happen to me?
"What is this?" She asked picking up my book and looking at my letter. Was it as letter? Maybe more of a diary entry than a letter. Oh well it doesn't matter.
"It's my english," I replied. Nice excuse idiot. This is not going to work.
"We are in german class Marcus, not in English class," She lectured me. I actually hate her.
I starred in horror as she preceded to rip apart the small pages of my notebook.
"Mr Fischer, You can see my after school for your detention!" She yelled into my ear.
Welcome to my life.
