Chapter 1

To me I think I have a normal life. Other people would disagree...ok my best friend Megan, well old best friend, would be one of those people. Her family is picture perfect, like in a movie. Her dad is a lawyer and her mom is a stay at home mom, and she has one brother and a small dog names Pebels. That’s it, me on the other hand, yeah not so much.

My mom died when sister, Emma was 7 and I was 5. The only thing I have from her was a note Emma knows her better than me but I do miss her. My dad was heartbroken when this happened, so he did what he could, but he met another woman, Lisa my step mom now.

In most stories or fairy tales the step mom is evil and so mean, not in this case, she's perfect! Lisa is like an older sister to me and Emma. She was also married, but got a divorce and she had kids of her own, so my family grew, she had 5 kids; Sophia, Noah, Blake, Maddie, and Talia. When they got serious they decided to buy a house together, we all lived in Miami so they decided to up and leave start fresh. They got married before we moved to LA. I was 12 when we moved; all of us kids were ok with it. When we all go to LA my dad and Lisa were offered a really good job both being music producers so we got to move into a huge house. It had 3 floors, including a basement, 9 bedrooms, 7 and half bathrooms, 2 living rooms (one upstairs and one in the basement), a recording studio, a pool, 3 car garages, a huge kitchen, and a play room.

When I was 14 my dad and Lisa told the whole family they were going to have a baby together, we were all so excited. All of us were thinking one baby. No Lisa ended up having twins, Matt and Tommie. None of us were complaining we loved those two boogers. When I was 15, 5 days before my 16th birthday, is when my life flipped. Megan told me her and her family were moving the day after my birthday. I was so mad and I didn't want her to move. We did everything together, we were even on the same competitive cheerleading team and we both modeled together also. She told me she was moving to New York, because her dad got a new job and her mom wanted her to take her modeling career to the next level. Then I thought this day couldn't get any worse, but somehow it did.
