Chapter 13

I woke up next to Luke and I could tell it was gonna be a good day, I don't know why. I'm going on a date later tonight with the one and only Luke Brooks. After we all got ready and headed down to the lobby to meet up with everyone we got the taxis and headed back over to the hospital. We got there and we always went in the same order, when my dad and Lisa came out Emma and I walked back hand in hand. When we got in the room and he was still in the same position as he was before. Emma and I each took one of his hands and kissed the back of his hand.

"Hey Uncle Todd, I really wish you would wake up there are so many people that miss you." Emma told him.

"I'm one of those people that miss you and I hope you miss me" a tear fell from my cheek and hit the back of his hand and he hand tightened. I gasped "Emma did you see that?" she nodded her head and she was shocked.

"I most defiantly miss you Alliepop and you too Emmie" Uncle Todd said very weakly.

We both screamed at the top of our lungs "OH MY GOD YOUR UP AND ALIVE!" I screamed and hugged him. I bunch of doctors and nurses came running in and helped him. I ran back out to everyone else with tears falling down my face like a waterfall. I stopped right in front of everyone and they all looked at me, "he's awake" everyone started crying and hugging everyone. I ran over to Luke and hugged him like no other. I cried into his shirt too, most of his shirts were like towels for me lately.

"Alex I’m so happy for you I really am you are one lucky girl" he told me.

I stared into his big brown eyes, "I wouldn't know what I would be like if you weren't here so thank you and I am only a lucky girl because one my uncle just woke up out of a coma and I get to go on a date with the one and only Luke Brooks." I kissed him on the lips; I didn't care about anyone else at that point.

I heard a bunch of ooohhss "Finally, are you two dating yet?" Sophie asked as everyone stared in awe.

We both blushed but then Luke looked at me, "no were not, hopefully we will" I was red as a tomato and I rarely blush.

"I hope" I mumbled and Luke grabbed my good hand and we interlocked our fingers. Luke looked down at our hands then looked into my eyes and smiled. People say when they see there crush they get butterflies in the stomach, when I look at Luke the whole damn zoo explodes in my stomach.

"Alex, Todd would like to see you and only you" the nurse told me. I let go of Luke and walked back to his room.

I knocked on the door, "hey" I said softly.

"Come here baby girl I missed you" he said. I ran over and gave him a hug with the tears running down my face again. "What the hell did you do now?" he pointed to my arm.

I laughed, "I broke my wrist, when I jumped onto the bed but I hit the edge of it and flew off and hit the wall, so yeah I’m still not graceful I haven't changed."

"But you have changed"

"How?"

"You’re in love"

"What, with who?"

"I don't know who but I can see it in your eyes your happier"

"I have my friend Luke out in the waiting room; do you what to meet him?" He nodded. I went and got him "this is Luke."

"Hey Luke, I’m Todd she is my favorite little girl" he pointed to me and I gave them a cheesy grin "you hurt her, I hurt you. Got it?"

"Don't worry I won’t let anything happen to her and note taken." he said while shaking his hand.

"You take care of my little girl; you have the same look in your eyes that she has in hers. I may be in a hospital bed but I could still kick your ass" my uncle told Luke.
