Chapter 16

We got back to the hotel and ran to the room both of us really worried. I opened the door and found Emma sitting on the couch and Darby napping on the bed, "What the hell was so important that we needed to be back? Everything looks fine" I panted from running.

"Well Darby and I went to the waterpark and I turned away for one second and she was gone, that’s when I called you. Then I was running around the waterpark looking for her and I ran into a really nice guy and he helped me fine her in about 5 minutes. She was in the kid area with another little girl playing then I told her not to run off again and she said she was tired so we came back to get pizza. We just finished eating and she literally just fell asleep." Emma explained while sitting on my laptop.

I sighed, "You couldn't have called us to tell us everything was ok? We were in the middle of something important too. Let me guess, you didn't call because you got asked out on a date tonight by this nice guy and you wanted to go get ready?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Damn kid, you’re good and yeah that’s why I didn't call." she said and walked out of the room.

I just fell on the ground and laid there, "you ok?" Luke asked while picking me up.

"She kills me sometimes, I don't even know-" Luke cut me off by kissing me.

He walked over to the couch and sat down and I readjusted myself so I was sitting on his lap sideways. "Calm down babe, everything is fine and Darby is here and she's leaving today. For the thing at Gravity Studios I’m sure Jai and Sophie will tell us everything." I cuddled into his chest and sighed.

"Your right, thanks for keeping me sane since" I paused trying to think "well ever since I met you." he chuckled and hugged me.

"Anything for my princess." I fell asleep in his arms once again.

When I woke up I was in the same position in Luke’s arms and he was asleep too, I looked over at Darby and she was still sleeping. I tried to get up from Luke but his hands were around my waist and he wouldn't let go. I groaned and tried to get out but he wouldn't let me. I look at Luke’s face and he was smiling, "Your awake you ass, let me go" I laughed.

"I don't want to, your warm" he snuggled me more and closed his eyes again.

"Your cold, are you sick?" I felt his forehead, it was a little warm.

He sneezed away from me, "no I’m just cold."

"Luke I think you’re getting sick, your forehead is a little warm" I got up and he shook his head. I grabbed a blanket carefully off the bed and covered him up on the couch and he laid down and fell asleep again. My phone started to ring and I grabbed it quickly and ran into the hallway, not wanting to wake anyone up, "Hello?"

"Hey Alex it's Shannon, what is your room number my husband and I are in the lobby to get Darby and we don't know where to go" she laughed a little.

"I'll meet you in the lobby Darby's taking a nap in our room right now and Luke is in the room so I’ll meet you in the lobby." I started walking to the elevators.

"Ok thank you sweetie" she said and hung up. I got down to the lobby and started to look for Shannon, "Alex!" I turned around and saw Shannon, and her husband I gave her a hug and smiled. “Alex this is my husband, Frank and the head coach at UA" I shook his hand, "this is the girl I was telling you about" she said to Frank.

His face lit up, "You are an amazing tumbler, text book perfect I understand why Darby won’t shut up about you." he smiled and so did I.

"Thank you means a lot coming for you, my room isn't far away" they nodded and followed me to my room. We got there and I opened the door slowly and they were in the same spots as I left them. I smiled and waved Shannon and Frank to come in. They went to Darby and I went to Luke and felt his forehead again and it was really hot, so I left him to sleep.
