Chapter 15

The lights turned on and there were two people at the end of the table in the middle of the room but I couldn't see their faces so I couldn't tell who they were. "I know this might sound fake and it looks like we’re trying to kidnap you. We’re not, we heard you guys preform and were interested in your band." Luke held my hand tight.

"What do you want?" Jai asked.

He walked into the light and I could see his face but I don't know who he was, "like I said we like your band. My name is Kevin and I work at Def Jam Records and we were here on a business matter and heard you guys in the lounge and you guys were great you have that 'it' sound. Come on down to Gravity Studios tomorrow at 1. You guys come and play and we like what we hear, we'll take if we don't like it was a waste of studio time. Oh and drummer, you have great skills if you can play perfectly with a broken arm." and they were gone.

"What the fuck just happen?" I shouted still holding Luke’s hand.

"Um, if we do well tomorrow we might have just gotten a record deal" Luke says. We all walked out of the room up to our rooms, "what are we going to play tomorrow we can't play the same song."

"You have a point" jai said while holding Sophie’s hand.

I stopped in the middle of the hallway, "wait are you two dating?" I smiled. They both blushed "I’ll take that as a yes. I know the perfect song, Our Song by Matchbox Twenty."

"What is it with yours and Luke's obsession with that band?" jai asked. We both shrugged, "I love that song and it would be perfect I already know how to play it too"

"I know most of the words but I just have to double check them." Sophie said.

"I know how to play the song on guitar so I don't need to check." Luke added

I nodded, "I know most of it too just have to check lets go back to my room and I can look up the stuff for Sophie and I and we can go back down to the lounge and try it out" I opened my door and walked to my laptop. I was going to sit down on the chair but Luke was already sitting, "how the hell did you get there so fast?"

"Magic" he simply answered I rolled my eyes and sat on him.

I found the music and it was just what I thought, "I knew all that, so I know the song. Sophie come look at the words" she came over and I gave her my laptop.

"I got it down can you print off me a sheet just in case?" I shook my head and printed it out for her, "thanks."

Luke picked me up bridal style and walked over to my suitcase and put me down and grabbed my medicine and some water, "take this." I took my medicine and I hugged Luke. He hugged back and we just stayed like this for a while.

Jai and Sophie started making puking sounds, "ok, let’s go" jai said.

I grabbed my phone out of Luke’s back pocket and he jumped, "why you grabbin my butt?" I blushed a little, damn.

"I wasn't I was getting my phone since you took it” we both laughed. "Can I have that piggy back right now?" I asked Luke. I didn't give him time to answer I just jumped on his back.

He caught me, "the things I do for you" I giggled and kissed his cheek. We got to the lounge again and walked up to the stage and then a bunch of people came over the stage egger to hear us again I laughed.

"Ready?" I asked they nodded and we played (A/N-SONG ON SIDE) we finished and the crowd went wild. We all laughed and got up and heard so many compliments, like 'good job' 'yours great' 'I wish I could play like you' 'that was amazing' but one little voice stuck out in my head I turned around and there she was.
