*****Above is Xander's family. Marleene is his deceased mother btw just if you wanted to be able to understand what she looked like.*****

>London's POV<
No, not again. It can't happen, no one was suppose to get hurt this time. This was my fight not hers. It feels like my whole world is crashing down all over again. As drove down the empty roads I saw barely anything, the only thing prominent was my tears.

When I finally got to my destination I ran out of my car and into the dreaded building. As I stepped into the waiting room I saw Paris sitting in a chair with her head in her hands. Jesse was sitting on the floor crying silent tears into her knees. I rushed to her side and when she looked up and saw that it was me she hugged me so tight as she cried hysterically.

"Jess, how's Carter?" I asked once she calmed down a bit.

"I don't know they took her into surgery as soon as she got here and and escorted Paris and me here. They haven't told me anything else. It's all my fault this would have never happened if it weren't for me."

"Don't say that Jesse, no one knew this was going to happen." Paris consulted.

"The people who did it knew. And they're gonna pay for everything they did to her. The worst she is the worst they're gonna be." I spoke with a great venom and darkness in my voice that I almost didn't recognize myself.

After ten minutes Carter's mom, Camila, rushed in crying and ranting in Spanish. Jess had to explain what happened. After another hour after that the doctor came out.

"Family of Carter Muñllos?" he asked.

"Yes, that's us. I'm her mother." her mother replied with a strong Spanish accent as she stood.

"Well Mrs. Muñllos, she was shot in her lower abdomen and bullet went fairly deep, but not deep enough to hit any vital organs. So she'll be fine, however she's in a coma. We believe she will wake up in a week, two at most."

"Can we see her?" Jesse asked with a hoarse voice from all her crying.

"Because of her condition we advice only to let family in." he replied hesitantly

"Okay, why are you telling me this?" her mother asked her accent still strong.

"Only you can see her right now."

"But you said only family, this is her family." Camila told the doctor.

"We mean biological family." he replied sternly.

"So what, if a mother adopted her child and wanted to see him in the hospital, you wouldn't let her because she's not his biological mother."

"We would, but--" he tried, but got cut off by Carter's mom.

"But you don't know our situation so as far as you know these three girls are her sisters and so they can go see her, claro?" Camila didn't even give him time to respond. "Bien. Now enseñame donde su habitación es."

"Um, I don't know much Spanish, but I think you told me something about where and room so I assume you want me to take you to her room." the doctor explained quickly and you could tell he was scared.

Yeah, did I mention Camila is a lawyer, 'cause she is. We followed the doctor down a hall, through a door, and up some stairs to Carter. She was hooked up to multiple machines and you could hear the steady beeping of the heart monitor. Yet, with all of that she seemed peaceful and calm. Granted she did have a bruise on her head from falling to the ground after she was shot and a bandage wrapped tightly around her torso. And through all of that she still looked at ease.
