What exactly is going on? Just when Xander and I take one step forward, we just have to take two leaps back. I mean how does he know not only one of my friends, but one of my gang members.
And why exactly does he look so scared? Xander never looks scared even when he is.
"What are you doing here?" He questioned Macy.
"I'm friends with London. So what you're not happy to see me? Aw don't be such a pussy all of sudden, Andy!"
"I'm not and don't call me that." He gritted out before storming upstairs. I followed after him because I needed answers and I felt the only way I would get them is through Xander.
"Xander, what was that? How do you two know each other?"
"We just do. Why is she here? How are you two friends?"
"We just are." I replied throwing his lame excuse back into his face. He just glared at me.
"You need to stay away from her, London. She's bad news."
"Whoa, you're really scared of her, aren't you? But you don't need to worry about me, I trust Macy."
"Well so did I, and it didn't turn out so well. Call me when she leaves. I won't tell your dad they were here if you don't tell him I left. Deal?"
"No, not deal. The only deal that's relevant is the deal between you and Macy and no one's leaving til I get it."
"All you need to know is that she made me lose eight months of my life. She ruins everything and acts innocent and doesn't care who she throws under the bus." Xander spat out each word with more venom and hatred than the last.
Truth is I knew all of this about Macy, it's kind of one of the reasons I like her so much. It's also a reason why she's one of the best people in the gang. She gets into enemies heads and crushes them from the inside and sells merchandise better than anyone. So if you ever buy drugs from Macy and become addicted, the drug wasn't the problem it was Macy. She has a way of getting in your head and making you feel as if you need it, and you can't live without it. She has a way of making you think the only way to her is through the drug and she makes you think that she in love you. And making you believe you're in love with her, even if you're a girl and not a lesbian. She's that powerful.
I kept quiet after that, I had an idea of what happened. I let Xander walk out and retreated back down the stairs.
"So what exactly happened between you two?" I asked Macy.
She simply replied. "I sold to him." And that's when I knew. Macy had drugged him, more than she has ever drugged someone before. And Xander fell for her, harder than he has ever fell before. I sighed before noticing the joint in Jace's hand.
"Pass it here." I took a hit before just relaxing a bit.
"So you good?" Jess asked
"Yeah, I guess. So what's happening, how have the missions gone while I was out?"
"Smoothly, but we're meeting with Nick, this Friday. We will most likely need back up because we all know Nick does not play fair. Make sure you have your weapons on you and can access them as quickly as needed."
