>Carter's POV<
I got to London's house and snuck through the back like she told me and waiting in the basement with the crew. I texted her I was downstairs and waited for her to come walk down the stairs.
"So why did we have to sneak in your house through the back door?" I asked as she quietly tip toed down the steps.
"I have a guest upstairs." she whispered.
"Who?" Jesse whispered back.
"Okay, don't get mad. It wasn't my idea, and the person can't exactly leave and neither can I." London told us as she sat down on the couch in front of me. I eyed her suspiciously before Diego spoke.
"Yeah, I feel a girl talk coming on so we're gonna go." then he, Anthony, Kyd, and Jace walked out the room.
"Be discreet, please." London whisper-yelled at them.
"OMG! Lo, stop with the this! The anticipation is killing me. And you know I have anxiety issues." Hayley spoke as she fanned herself.
"Okay, Miss Drama Queen, it's Xander." she replied as she looked at me expectantly.
"I'm sorry, I must have not heard you, I thought I heard you say Xander, but that can't be possible because I just cursed his ass out because he was a disrespectful asshole to you. So I know that you wouldn't let him in house and hide us from him because you care what he thinks."
"Look, he was there at the hospital, when I went into shock and I guess I was comforted by him so today, my dad didn't want me to say home alone in my condition so that's why he's here."
"Wait, Xander's the guy that said all that to you at the party?" Macy asked and London nodded. "He's so into you."
"I know." "What?!" London and I said at the same time.
"Wait, what do you mean, you know?" Jesse asked London
"He's an insecure guy, who couldn't handle the fact that a girl who he was interested in could possibly not like him back so he reacted by being a douche. I'm not saying it's okay and that I forgive him or anything, but to be honest I like him too. Which is crazy because I never thought that I would have a crush in high school because high school boys are just well you know." London explained
"Oh my gosh! I knew it! And now you have me to thank for you two coming together and even though I still have my eye on him, I can support your feelings. Like Bethany Mota put it, bows before bros." I exclaimed
"Same here." Jesse agreed.
"Thanks guys, but don't think that now I'm gonna go run into his arms and we gonna fall in love and get married and have ten kids because we all know..."
"YOU"RE NOT THAT KIND OF GIRL!" they all said in unison quite loud, if I do say so.
"Shhh! He's still doesn't know you're here."
"Uh, can we meet him already because it seems we always miss him when we're in the same place." Hayley said referring to her and Macy.
"Maybe, but I need to get back upstairs so he doesn't get suspicious." London said as she opened the door to the staircase. "You guys can go back in now." she told the guys who were sitting on the steps on their phones.
"Finally! You guys can talk forever." Jace huffed.
"At least we actually talk to each other, unlike you guys who just sit on your phones all day." London responded.
"Whatever." Kyd replied and London went up the stairs just as discrete and she came down the steps.
