Niall greeted me with a huge smile. It was so like him. He was sweet, caring, and always put his worries aside for other people. I plopped myself in the passenger seat and gave Niall a hug.
"Thanks for picking me up," I said.
"Don't mention it!" He replied.
I gave a week smile and buckled my seat belt.
On the way to school,we made some small talk. It's funny how me and Niall are friends honestly. He's the popular jock while I'm the shy bookworm. It's also kinda awkward with us too. Since everyone has a girlfriend or boyfriend, me and Niall are the only single ones.
The funny thing I that Caroline is still not over Niall.I don't know why he declined her, but I'm happy he's still single. Wait what.
I don't like Niall! I think to myself.
Yet every word feels like a lie. I was never that girl who dressed up for guys. I was more of a big sweater, tights, skinny jeans, and short sleeve shirts. No dresses. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
I wasn't looking where I was going and ran into a pole.
Oops
But luckily Niall was there to catch me.
He caught me in the nick of time and was holding on to me tight.
"OMG sorry I didn't mean to... And I just.... And you just."
He cut me off by saying-
"I think your cute like this,"
"What"
"You are really cute like this,"
"Huh"
"Would you like to go to that new Italian restaurant down by my house?"
"Yea sure,"
He smiled and said "I'll pick you up at eight!"
Did I just get a date.
With the most popular guy in school/my best friend.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HAIR?
WHAT
WHAT
WHAT
what is the only word running through my head. Oh yea, and why.
Why did he pick me? We are polar opposites. Oh well. I still have to suffer 7 hours of school
