Ch.13 Why Am I Here?

Their living room is pretty bare. It only holds a sofa and a flat screen , that stand across from one another. Besides that is a slide door that leads to the outside porch. As I exit the bedroom, voices and laughter bounce off the hallways walls. I walk into the living room to see everyone gathered around the sofa all facing towards the screen. There are cards discarded in a messy pile on the floor. On T.V. GDragon is performing one of his latest tracks "Who You?" from his Coup d'Etat album. Jin is the first one to notice me.

"Oh Alexus! Here come sit!" He then got up from the sofa and went to sit next to Jungook on the floor. Namjoon who was sitting next to Jin, scooted to the end and patted the now empty spot next to him with a smile on his face. No thanks I can just sit on the floor I'd be more comfortable that way. Instead I nodded and returned the smile as I slowly (and awkwardly) eased myself between Namjoon, and... I looked to the other side, Kim Taehyung. Why why why why why why why????? NO calm down just smile. I turned towards Taehyung and tried to give him the warmest smile ever, in return he continue focusing on the screen, leaning his head against his arm propped up on the armrest of the sofa. Just watch the T.V. It was hard to focus on the T.V. when I could feel all of the members staring at me, well with the exception of one. With GDragon singing and all of the eyes on me, I felt as if my head was going to explode. I couldn't take the awkwardness anymore.

"I CANT DO THIS!" I jumped up from the sofa and turned around to face all of the surprised faced boys, even Taehyung was looking up at me. Breathe and take your time. "I cant do this. This is one of the weirdest things among the weirdest things to ever happen!" I glanced at all of them, immediately feeling a sense of guilt wash over me. "I'm sorry I just don't understand how they or whoever came under the conclusion to have 1 girl live with 7 guys, to be more clear 7 guys she JUST MET." Namjoon nodded his head, as if in agreement with me.

"We didn't understand either why they thought having a girl living in the same house, sleeping in the same room with us, would be a good idea." I looked down at Namjoon feeling a little bit more relieved they agreed but still with a bit of confusion.

"So why am I here?" Namjoon went silent. I looked at the rest of the members, trying to find an answer. As I looked back I made eye contact with Taehyung. He looked frustrated as he spoke.

"Because we are their last hope."
