CH.15 Blanked Out

The company depending on me. Me. I can't do it. I can't do this. I can't.

"I CANT DO THIS!" I sprung up, breathing heavily only to feel hands on my shoulders. Someone was standing before me but my vision was blurred. I looked all around. Where am I? Who is this? What's going on?! I stopped moving as a familiar voice filled the room.

"ALEXUS! YOU'RE OKAY! LOOK ITS US RUBY AND LINDSEY! YOU'RE OKAY!" Ruby and Lindsey? What's going on? My vision came into focus to see Lindsey and Ruby both standing by my bedside. They both had worried expressions on their face. Ruby was the one with her hands placed against my shoulders.

"Ruby? Lindsey? Is that really you?" They both nodded. I immediately got out of bed and hugged them both. It's been a while since the last time I had seen them. After I finished hugging them, my head filled with everything I've wanted to tell them. "There are so many things I need to tell you! – wait but first why are you guys here? I don't think you guys are allowed in here." They both looked at me with puzzled looks, Lindsey laughed.

"Why wouldn't we be allowed in your apartment?" My apartment? That's when I noticed something odd. I was in my own bedroom.

"Wait a minute, why am I here? I was with Namjoon and the boys last night. What's going on?" A worried expression came over Ruby's face.

"Don't you remember?" This question made me even more confused.

"Remember what?" She looked at Lindsey then back at me with an unsure look.

"The company was shut down after you quit." What... "The CEO closed it down himself, saying he had failed everyone." Wait, the boys. "After that BTS had no choice but to disband, by the way, guess whose bias works at a café shop just down from my school!" How could this have happened in one night? Nervous to hear the answer I had to ask.

"How long have I been asleep?" Lindsey stepped towards me, and put a hand on my shoulder.

"You still haven't woken up."
