The halls were crowded and filled with noise. Posters hung on the wall, some about to fall off. The lights were slightly dimmed a small bit, but it never bothered anyone. The halls of any university were the same really. However there was a slight change this time.

Caitlyn and Luke roamed through the hallways, hand in hand. Everyone glanced at them because well, it was unusual. Luke didn't do relationships, and Caitlyn was back to normal. Turns out Luke actually did fix Caitlyn. He did more than fix her.

He was her anchor, what she needed to stay grounded. "It's like they've never seen a couple before." Caitlyn says to Luke. He smiles at her before saying, "well, they've never seen this couple before." Caitlyn slightly giggles, tightening her grip on Luke's hand.

"Want to give them another surprise?" Luke asks, stoping in his tracks.

"What do you mean?"

Luke loudly whistles, and his band members come running along with a flowery background, chuckling at the cliche-ness Luke had made them do. Luke had saw it on this cartoon TV show, apparently the world was ending so one of the characters asked his friend to bring a nice background where he proposed to a girl. It was pretty weird, and he knew that but he knew Caitlyn liked weird.

Meanwhile all the people they knew surrounded them, pushing away anyone in the hall who didn't really care for the sweet moment Luke was about to pull.

"This is a very shitty place to do this honestly, but I just want everyone to know you're mine and only mine. I want everyone to know how much I love you, because you know I do. I really fucking do. Anyways, we've been dating for a year now, and I've known you for two. I know we never really gotten along at first, and everything we've been through was absolute shit but we found a way to make it better. You gave me one chance, and I think I nailed it. But this isn't about me, this is about you. You're everything to me. You're my first actual relationship and I want it to be my last. I don't want anyone else. I want you in every way I can.

I want to grow old with you, watch our children grow up and have other children and watch their children grow up. I want to be all old and wrinkly with you by my side. I want to be buried in the same grave so we can really be together forever, Caitlyn. I want to make history with you. I also want your last name to be Hemmings. So saying this, would you, Caitlyn-Maybe-Soon-To-Be-Hemmings marry me?"

"I don't think I could say no." She says after a moment of trying to gather her words. Luke sighs of relief, and smiles largely. He pulls out the ring from his black leather jacket and slides the ring onto her finger. He kissed her gently after the roaring screaming, and gasp came from around them. Their friends cheered for them the loudest though, some of them starting to cry a little.

"I'm goddamn wrapped around your finger, Caitlyn." He chuckles for a moment, "Literally."
