Chapter16

~Mitch's POV~
I shouldn't have drank that 44oz slushy. I say to myself walking to the bathroom. When I get there though, I see Michaela and Vikk. Kissing. And it's not like last time. Last time her arms were at her side but now, he arms are around Vikks neck and his hands are on her hips. This time I don't do anything. I'm too heartbroken to. I just walked away. I walked outside and cried.

~Michaela's POV~
I'm kissing Vikk. I like it. I can't like it. I'm with Mitch. "We can't do this." I say.

"Why not," Vikk asks, "I wanna be with you."

"I'm with Mitch and I wanna be with him," I say "we just can't to this." And with that I walk away. Away from Vikk. Away from the kiss. Away from the house. And my life.

~Mitch's POV~
"Michaela?" I say. But I say it quietly. She couldn't hear  me. What am I doing. She obviously likes Vikk more than me. Wait she's crying. I run after her.

"Michaela!" I scream. This time she hears me and she ran into my arms. I caress the back of her head trying to sooth her. She just sobs into my chest.

"What's wrong baby?" I ask her. But I know what's wrong. I heard her talking to herself as she ran out. She didn't wanna lose me. But she kissed Vikk.

"Promise you won't be mad?" She says still sobbing into my chest.

"Of course I won't."

"I kissed Vikk," she says, "he didn't kiss me, I kissed him." I smile relieved that she told me.

"I know," I say smiling, "I know."

"You do?" She says looking up at me. All I do is nod. "I'm so sorry," she says still sobbing and crying, "I was just caught up in the moment and Vikk was upset and I was confronting him an-" I cut her off with a kiss. She smiles through the kiss and so do I.

"I love you," she says, "so much." A tear falls down her cheek and I wipe it away with my thumb.

"I love you too." I say. I put my thumb under her chin and tilt her head up. I kiss her nose. We hug for a while. Just happy in each others embrace.  I'm glad she's here. After all we've been through, love prevails all.
