"No, I swear nothing happen. I was just tripped out by the alarm." I lie. First David and now the Principal. They both are suspecting me, I mean I guess it's better than accusing the rich boy of gun ownership, even if it is true, I can only see it ending badly for me.
He narrows his eyes at me, "Alright, just get outside with the rest of your class."
I nod and head for the exit, "I hope we don't have to have another discussion about this, Maxine." I cringe at the use of my real name, but continue outside.
Fresh air. It's nice, I really need it after whats just happened.
I can't believe I actually saved that girl. I can't believe Nathan had a gun, and pulled it on someone.
A slight buzz vibrates in my pack pocket. I slide out my phone, a text from warren.
'Hey Mad Max! Sorry but 2 ask for my flash drive back, but I kinda need it, could u meet me at the parking lot with it in 20?'
I reply with a simple sure and begin making my way to the dorms, conversating with a few people along the way.
After 10 minutes I finally make it to the dorm, where their stands queen bee in all her evil glory, blocking my only way in. Oh and her little 'friends' are there too.
Great, now all I need is a message saying my mother died and some rain.
Maybe I could ask her to move.. No I know she will just make fun of me for being a 'Selfie Ho' or 'Hipster Twee'. I'll have to find another way in.
I begin my search of entry when a brilliant plan forms in my head. Simply turn on the sprinklers. Well, make them more powerful, of course just enough to get her out of the way. I walk my way leisurely over to the control room, doing my best not to be seen by Victoria.
Once I make it in a simply turn the sprinkler nob as far left as it can go.
"Ugh, No way! No way!" A muffled shrill voice screeches from outside, I let out a snicker. Seems like queen bitch is more like a wet dog now. Wet bitch.
Making my way back outside I make sure not to get caught. I try sneaking behind the group of three, but alas I fail.
"Where do you think your going?" Victoria sneers.
A sigh escapes me as I turn to look at her, "To my room, where else?"
"I know you did this, don't think I didn't see you just walk out of the janitors room." She places and hand on her hip and narrows her eyes at me.
"I don't know what your talking about but if you'll excuse me." I turn and reach for the door knob, but she has different ideas. She grabs my arm and spins me to face her.
"You'll pay for this, Bitch." She practically spits in my face before turning and walking off, her two bimbos fallowing behind trying to calm her down.
Okay maybe that wasn't the best idea. Since I have this power maybe I should just go all out. I could try to be nice, just so she doesn't rip my face off later.
I place my hand up and focus from back when I turned on the sprinklers. A pain reaches my head and I'm tumbling slightly forward.
"Ah, No way! No way!" The voice wails again.
I can play innocent. I rush outside and over to Victoria.
"Oh my god! Are you okay?" I hand her a handkerchief from my bag, "Here dry off, I know how expensive that shirt is." It takes all I can not to grimace and gag.
"You bet It's expensive." She grabs the piece of blue cloth from hands and looks up at me, "Thanks max." She mutters hesitantly. She looks confused, well I probably would be too.
