Jenny woke up after having a long night being awake in endless pain. Her face had blood stains from last night that she never bothered cleaning up. Her eyes were partially red, as her arms were shaking lightly. Despite all of the pain she was going through, she mostly remained happy in her mind because of the thought of Ivan. She was going to see him today, at least at night. She got up to notice that none of her parents were there. She thought they probably went off to work, although they don't normally go this early. Her parents both were accountants, at the local bank. They have the typical 'working 9 to 5' job, as they rarely had to work overtime, and would usually be out of sight of her parents not being there means she can get up and eat whatever she wanted for breakfast. She got up and walked to the kitchen, noticing the light on the top of her cell phone going off constantly in a pattern. She walked towards the phone and turned it on, seeing 3 messages from Ivan. They each read "Goodnight angel! I can't wait to see you tomorrow", "Are you awake yet angel?", and "If you aren't busy or anything, wanna go bowling today?". Jenny felt so happy because he has never texted her first, especially in the morning. She began to blush, holding the phone to her chest thinking of Ivan more than ever. Since her parents were out of the house and off to work, she decided to warm up some leftover pizza from Saturday night's dinner. While heating up the pizza, she decided to text Ivan. "Yes, I would love to go bowling. How about you drive here at 12 and pick me up? Don't worry about paying for me." She got out her pizza shortly after it was ready, and bit straight into it. The pizza was way too hot for her, as she got distracted setting the cook time while texting Ivan. The pizza left a small burn on her cheek, but it just added to all the pain from last night. She ate her pizza, cleaned up, and decided to do her makeup. While standing in front of her mirror, she noticed how horrible the scars looked on her face. Dried up blood stains flowed down her cheek, a bright red burn mark from the pizza, and bruises scattered everywhere. She knew she was weak, and could get hurt easily, but she wanted to hide all of this from Ivan, because she didn't have it last night when Ivan last saw her.

"Look how disgusting you look, you worthless weakling." She whispered to herself looking at the mirror. "Last time I saw someone as ugly as you, I nearly killed them, and I'll do the same if I see you one more time!" Jenny broke her mirror in rage with her anger levels reaching high above normal. The mirror shattered as the glass fell near her feet, some making small cuts into her foot. Her hand was also bruised from punching the mirror, and was in weaker shape than before. The doorbell ended up ringing. Is Ivan here? Jenny slowly got up and walked towards the door, seeing Ivan smiling at the door. "It's not even 12 yet, what is he doing here early?" she thought opening the door.

"Hey angel, I thought I would come buy to surprise you!" He smiled, noticing how beat up Jenny looks. She spoke in a soft way, as if she had a sore throat.

"You sure did surprise me, I didn't expect you." As excited as she would be if she was in cleaned clothes with no blood on her face.

"Oh, I may seem hurt but I'm alright, honestly." She spoke out before Ivan could get a chance to ask what was wrong.

"That's alright, I wanted to know if everything was alright."

"Don't worry." She smiled a weak smile, knowing she was being dishonest to him. "So are you ready for bowling? She asked Ivan.

"Yeah, also Damien is with us. I didn't want to leave him home alone, otherwise my parent would get angry at me." Jenny glances over Ivan's shoulder to see Damien sit in the car. It looked liked he was watching something on his phone with headphones plugged in.

"That's alright, give me a few minutes to get ready." Jenny smiled then closing the door shortly after. She cleaned up her face and put on fresh clothes. Walking passed the shattered mirror, the glass scattered all over the floor with a few blood drops from when the glass cut her foot earlier. She knew that her parents would get angry, but she hated seeing herself in the mirror. She left the house and saw that Ivan and Damien were yelling.
