Summary:

"Dying in your sleep has never been such a waking nightmare..."

18 year old Samantha Harper has a problem, and it's that she can't sleep. Sure it may seem simple at first, but chronic insomnia is nothing to laugh at or ignore. And Samantha can't ignore it, not when she's starting to hallucinate voices and shadow people. Sam is going to have, have to make a deal with the Sandman or Bogeyman if all this is going to stop, before it's finally ends her.

Some people say that the Sandman and The Boogeyman go hand and hand, some might even call them twins. But what if they're two sides of the same coin.

(Book one in the nightmare series.)

Review:

This story follows Samantha as she tries to overcome her insomnia. the mood of the book is toned down horror (Mostly due to all the nightmare excerpts through out). The book brings what seems like a simple enough topic (Insomnia) and treats it like it should be- seriously. The idea of supernatural forces taking part in this problem is interesting.

The grammar is simple and straight to the point. the relateable character along side her best friend Nathan, create a little humor in face of her problem.

It's a recommended read if you're up for a little fight, a twist in mythology and a laugh all at the same time.
