Summary:
This is an unconventional love story;Lucas Kiero is the top personal injury attorney of Washington state (litigator) . He is a celebrity lawyer who is calm cool and collected while battling his gender roles in society, he is also helping others succeed. Hes intelligent,charming and always in control but when he meets country girl Lilianne Colt from Texas state she threatens everything he thought he knew about love. With his career comes a quaint mystery of Lilianne and with his fame comes sacrifices,danger and unstaggering love.
The narrative takes us through eight years;They eventually make a commitment to one another and move into a Lakefront house in Clark county, Washington where Lucas gladly takes a position as the first Transgendered Lawyer of the U.S. Senate. When relationships and friendships are taken to a boiling point in their relationship;the couple seek to not to distance themselves from society. An interesting shift takes place in the dynamic of their relationship with Lilianne at the forefront when the Neighbors across the lake befriend her. What is supposed to be a seemingly perfect romantic opportunity to begin a happy family with a peaceful carefree life turns into a nightmare for the couple.Someone finds out about Lucas and his former true identity.Somebody develops a dangerous obsession with Lilianne. One night will change everything forever.
Review:
I must say this if the first trans book I've read. The story is written in real prose AKA supper descriptive language. You'll enjoy this if you're a fan of that, but if your not so good with your English you'll have a hard time concentrating.
The paragraphs are lengthy but well finished. The suspense and description speaks to you. I'll recommend it to any one!
