What has a tail, and often walks
Sometimes sings, sometimes talks
Can trick you, kill you, an endless race
A demon hidden by a lovely face
A flower born of glittering gold
May seem shy, yet always bold
Fun to seek, but fear to find
Not unlikely of it's kind
It can fly, but has no wings
glides between green silken strings
Has razor teeth, and will bite
drowns you in the dead of night
For it's prey it shall linger
won't let food lift a finger
Often defensive of it's kin
The silent hunter with a fin
