Chapter Eleven: The Masked Man

<Chris's POV>

"Please, let them go." I begged.

"Please." 

Gerald gripped his hands tighter and Bryan and Alia were both trying to struggle to break free. They barely made it out. It seems like they were given no space.

"I'll count to five and if you don't choose, I'll kill both of them." Gerald said. His creepy robotic voice sounds like he was ready to kill them both. Gerald gripped his hands tighter than before and both Alia and Bryan screamed in pain.

"Please! Let them go!" I begged.

"5-4-3," Gerald said counting down.

"2-" 

He was almost close to saying one when I began to shout.

"Me! I want to choose myself!" I shouted. Tears were streaming down my face. I can't possibly let even one of them die. I'd rather sacrifice myself.

"Chris, don’t do this!" Alia shouted at me still struggling to break free. Gerald smiled evilly. He lowered his hands really fast and Alia and Bryan fell to the cold hard floor. I lowered my head and went to him slowly. Bryan and Alia extended their arms.

"Chris, don’t do this please." they both said in unison. A tear rolled down my cheeks and I lowered my head more.

"I have to." I said and made it to Gerald. He smiled evilly.

"Go." Gerald said. At first, I thought he was talking to me until one of his ninjas immediately disappeared, and then appeared in my back then locked my hands up using a handcuff. Bryan and Alia stood up and both threw their poke balls.

"Articuno, come out!" Bryan shouted throwing a red and white poke ball. Articuno emerges from the white beam, and then flapped its wings really hard.

"Ponyta, go!" Alia shouted throwing her red and white poke ball this time. A horse-like fire type Pokémon emerges from the white beam that came out from its poke ball. Gerald smirked and then grabbed my arm.

"You guys deal with those two." Gerald commanded and led me outside. 

<Bryan's POV> 

Alia and I both looked at Chris as he went further; I snapped my finger and focused on the ninjas. They opened their hands and their poke ball came out. They threw it and five Cubones, three Machamps and two Hitmontops emerge from the white beams.

"Bryan. I don't think this is going to be easy." Alia said to me as we took a step backward.

"Don't worry, we can do this. Just have faith in yourself." I said to him and looked at the ninjas again.

"Articuno, use Aerial Ace!"

Articuno flapped its wings harder then flew swiftly to 3 Cubones knocking them out. Articuno was going directly to one of the ninjas when it suddenly disappeared and went to the back of Articuno. It punched Articuno three times causing Articuno to scream in pain. 

"Articuno, dodge it quick!" I shouted worriedly. Articuno obeyed and flapped its wings and was able to dodge the next upcoming punches of the ninja. Alia quickly took her time and began to attack too.

"Ponyta, use Tackle!" Alia commanded. Ponyta quickly ran to one of the ninjas and was about to hit it with its head when it teleported like the other one too. The ninja then appeared on the back of Ponyta and took Ponyta's right foot.

"Ponyta, kick the ninja!" Alia shouted. Ponyta followed her command and kicked the ninja causing the ninja to be knocked out. Ponyta's hoods are ten times harder than diamond that's why.

"Great job Ponyta, now use Flame Thrower at one of those Machamps!" Alia shouted pointing a Machamp.

"Articuno, join Ponyta by using Hyper Beam at one of those Machamps too!" I shouted. Articuno flapped its wings going up and both Ponyta and Articuno opened their mouths. Out came a powerful beam in Articuno's mouth while intense flames came out of Ponyta's.

Articuno's powerful Hyper Beam easily knocked out one of the Machamps but the Machamp that Ponyta was supposed to hit with its Flame Thrower quickly dodged it by jumping above the Flame Thrower.

"Hitmontop, use Rolling Kick at Ponyta" one of the ninjas said. HItmontop obeyed and delivered a fast spinning kick to Ponyta giving Ponyta a great damage.

"Articuno, use Aerial Ace again!" I shouted and Articuno flew swiftly to the remaining Cubones and knocked it all out. Articuno then headed to one of the Machamps and was about to knock it out but then Machamp punched Articuno hard on its forehead. Articuno screamed louder than before in pain and fell to the ground.

"Articuno!” I shouted worriedly. Articuno stood up and flapped its wings. I breathed heavily. Articuno was safe.

"Ponyta, use Hyper Beam!" Alia shouted 

"Articuno, use Hyper Beam too!" I shouted. Both Ponyta and Articuno opened their mouths and two powerful beams came out and the two powerful Hyper Beams hit one Machamp and one Hitmontop strongly. The Hitmontop and the Machamp was easily knocked out.

"Machamp, use Karate Chop at Ponyta!" one of the ninjas shouted. Alia was about to speak when one of the ninjas suddenly teleported on her back and punched her back three times. Alia fell to the floor unconscious.

"Alia!" I screamed worriedly.

"Articuno, use Hyper Beam at that ninja!" I said pointing at the ninja that punched Alia. Articuno opened its mouth and a powerful beam came out again. The ninja was about to teleport but then the Hyper Beam was fast and reached the ninja before the ninja had the time to teleport. The ninja was knocked out.

"Ponyta and Articuno, do anything you want to fight them. I'll go and check Alia!" I commanded and they both nodded their head and they both used Hyper Beam together and the remaining Hitmontop and Machamp was knocked out. The only one remaining were the ninjas. As I watched Ponyta, a thought came into my mind. How did Alia know Ponyta's moves? Did she remember everything now? Is her memory not lost anymore? I quickly ran to Alia and kneeled to the ground.

"Alia, are you okay?" I asked worriedly.
