Lord Death, had removed his fears from within him, turning himself into the God of Absolute order, But as an end result and ultimate conclusion of his daring Actions, His First Son, Asurojin was born. Asurojin, much like Prince Erebus himself, had been born unintentionally, but was still, considered a full-fledged Shinigami. Lord Erebus himself was ecstatic about now, having a son of his own, so that he could have someone, to live up to all his expectations whether they were right or wrong... And because of that reason, Lord Death, thought it was best to bring Asurojin, into The Great Guardians. Not long after Being Brought to the Great Guardians, Asurojin, was given training, on how to properly fight as a Shinigami and with him having the knowledge of how to properly fight, all there would be left for Prince Erebus to do, is to see how his son will, sharpen his abilities. A battle that was to take place was one of Asurojin's, many and final challenges as this fight would be him against his father; This Would be the hardest and by far one of the strongest battles that Asurojin, will ever face. But for Prince Erebus it was only to see if his son would live up to his expectations. This form of initiation was the very test, that lead Asurojin into becoming a Kishin, But the battle against Asurojin's father Lord Death.

Asurojin had trained his skills to fight against what would later be known as Kishin's of Earth, He never figured that he'd ever become one, especially one of such a high caliber. During his training, Asurojin had Taken down, The secret Group known as the Six Greeds, as well as the Four Warlords. Lord Death himself, was so completely surprised at how fast his son Asurojin, had grasped the fundamentals and even, advanced techniques, Which had enhanced his fighting abilities by tenfold. Erebus, was so confident in Asurojin's abilities, he had high hopes that his son would pass the last test without even the slightest of difficulty. But little did Lord Death know, his son Asurojin was at a mental stage, where he had very sensitive and incredibly sentimental soul, despite his outer appearance and overwhelming confidence, Asurojin possessed a mind that was easily swayable about any and everything, even as he continued to grow and get older, he was still easily frightened and scared. But ultimately it was through the fears that were embedded into his subconscious, forcing him to envision them, time and time again. After a while, Asurojin, had made up in his mind that these fears, that haunted him, Where the very same fears that he was initially formed and ultimately created from.

The Final test that Lord Death, Asurojin's Father, had arranged and prepared Was to see if his son, possessed the strength and resolve to defeat the current Protector and Savior of earth. Who at the current and present time was no one other than... Storm, The Eternal Shinigami... Upon calling his son to a private meet, Lord Death had also called Storm to appear so that the three of them could finally meet, they were called to a secret, and remote part of a giant forest that would soon become the outskirts of Tempest City. Once everyone had arrived and were accounted for Lord Death had told Asurojin that the time has come for his final test, and that Here in this forest. You will face the strongest, scared member of the great guardians, and that would be none other than Lord Erebus's predecessor, Storm Shinigami. As Storm's presence had been announced, He would slowly emerge from the midst of the sky, concealing his soul's full power, trying to keep his power and overall presence to a minimum. Asurojin's face suddenly became puzzled as he looked at his father and then towards Storm, he would begin to laugh as the amount of power he sensed, didn't seem to be that much greater than his father's. What truly made him laugh was that, as he sensed more and more areas of Storm's soul, Asurojin began to believe that it was actually weaker than his father's.

Asurojin had stated that someone with such a low amount of power isn't worthy of leading the Great Guardians' nor would someone of his caliber, ever have difficulty fighting such a weak opponent. Hearing these unbelievable words from his son, Lord Death stood there as his words, fell silent.

"Asurojin, my son, Your test here today is to face Lord Shinigami, with that being said and you have proved your dominance as the youngest but also the strongest member of the Guardians." "But if you pass this final test, you will and shall forever take Storm's place as the ruler and protector of this world." "Not only will you be burdened with the weight of the world, But you will also be renowned as the Leader of the Great Guardians, I truly believe it would be wise to try and hone your skills before officially accepting this task." .

Thinking about how to sevear this fight may or may not be, Asurojin had agreed and gone away to begin his vigorous and excoriating, journey of training. He started his training by perfecting his moves and skills of combat, in open lands and vast valley's to prepare him for his challenging battle that lay in store. Asurojin had also trained by participating in various tournaments, all over the world, in which he had always emerged as the victor.

As an even more skilled advantage, he participated in tournaments that restricted and forbid him, from using anything except his own natural strength, but even so he'd still dominate the other constants and would end up winning by more than a landslide. Before heading back home to face Storm and his father, Asurojin wanted to make sure he had mastered and perfected every technique and all of his abilities before challenging them. Asurojin arrived back home, nearly three years later to, officially challenge, Storm, The only man that stood in his way of obtaining, his new profound dream of becoming the protector of this world and all its inhabitants. Lord Death, examined his son, Asurojin and as he did, he could tell that he didn't waste time all the years he's been gone, Erebus had also marvelled at how much, Asurojin's power had risen tremendously, looking at Storm, Erebus would slowly nod his head, signaling that, his son was ready to begin the test. Watching them, Asurojin had begun laughing to himself as he spoke with cockiness in his voice.
"Because of how much, my power has improved, I feel like I could take on both of you."

Hearing this Lord Death would chuckle aloud as he responded.
"That's pretty good kiddo."

The playfulness in Erebus's voice would change to that of a more serious tone.
"Because, truth is that you are."

Asurojin, stood there and looking at the both of them.

" what do you mean, Before you said that I was only fighting one of you." "I've already beaten you, Father, so I should only be fighting him."

A small smirk, would make its way upon Lord Death's face as he began to speak.

"No, I didn't, if you were listening you'd known that I said you were to battle my predecessor"
"My predecessor isn't me nor is it him, but it's actually both of us, as I am merely a part of him."

Asurojin would stand there motionless, trying to process what was being said.
"wait so... that means... uh..."

Asurojin would scratch his head and shrug
"Uh.. oh, I think I get it now..."

Lord Death Would sigh looking at his son.
"you really don't understand; Do you"

Asurojin would quickly reply.
"Nope... I don't care, I just want to fight."

Erebus would, sigh, asking Asurojin once more if he was ready, his son would nod his head, answering yes.
