3rd POV
“YOU'RE INSANE ,AMETHYST!” Pearl yelled at the gem shielding herself with Pearl's body .The Pearl held back a corrupted forced fusion with her spear .“I didn't know this place would be infested with these things!” Amethyst's voice shaked ,she pulls her whip out of her gem and launched herself to a corrupted fusion that was about to attack Pearl from behind .Her whip wrapped around it ,she sent purple energy through the whip and an explosion at the end of it ,making the creature explode in pieces.
“Guys look out!” Steven yelled at the two gems protecting themselves ,he jumped over them and summonged his shield to protect them from another creature on top of them .The creature opens it's mouth ,a large eyeball inside of it .It stares directly at Steven ,which made Pearl gag .The odor that came from it was very unpleasant .
Luckily a green starbolt pushed it out of his shield .The three gems look at Peridot which was extending her new enhancer Pearl has built for her .It looked exactly as the old ones ,only that they were entirely black and had a yellow star on the elbow area .The middle floating finger smoked ,she blew it away and stared back at the gems.
“That was amazing ,Peridot!” Steven smiled on the floor with a little cut on his face .Pearl helped him up ,the child groaned and stood there ,his pupils got smaller as he saw the creature stand up with his five legs and run towards them once more.
“Pearl ,I could use some help here!” Garnet yelled from the top of a very high Rock .Another terrible creature holding her down .Pearl flew to her and left Amethyst and Steven in charge of the present situation .Amethyst held Steven up by his collar—“Stay safe”—she threw the child on top of a tree and continued to attack the thing .The creature grows a giant hand from it's upper area ,but Amethyst did not notice this .The grey fist dropped over Amethyst ,but Peridot had already pushed her away.
“Thanks ,Peri.”Amethyst smiled ,she stood up with weak knees .In a push of a button Peridot's feet became rockets .She bubbled a giant rock with her green energy and flew over the creature .“Now!” Amethyst ordered her ,Peridot let the rock fall on the creature and in seconds it poofed.
Peridot turned her head ,she saw Garnet and Pearl in trouble .Under her she saw Amethyst running to go help them .Adrenaline rushed through Peridot's body .The flying gem joins two arms and forms an even more powerful source of green energy .She shoots it at the monster holding both Pearl and Garnet down .The monster makes a suffering noise before it poofed .The green gem lands besides the two and gives them a hand .Garnet and Pearl look at each other ,they seemed confused but accepted her gesture and took her hand to pull themselves up .“We have a problem...” All the gems turned their back ,walking backwards until they were all together in a circle .“Maybe a hundred of 'em." Amethyst added .
“We have to fuse.” Garnet said as she looked at the army of corrupted gems surrounding them from under the tall rock .“What?” Pearl and Amethyst said in union ,Garnet looked back at them ,an angry expression behind her shades .“Suck it up guys! We can't take this thing alone!” Garnet growled at them.
“GIANT WOMAN!” Steven's voice echoed through the wide rocky place .
“Fuse? definitely not Opal.” Amethyst crossed her arms looking at disgust to the Pearl .She groaned and pulled her own hair in desperation .“C'mon! Anybody!” Garnet yelled at the two gems .Amethyst was too shy ,she remembered what happened last time they formed Sugilite .Pearl took a step forward .Garnet hums in agreement and pulls Pearl towards her .
“C'mon Peridot ,we can take them ourselves. ” Amethyst slides down the tall rock on to the dry ground with Peridot .“No.” Sardonyx landed behind the two surprised gems .The ground shook which made Peridot and Amethyst wobble .“I need you two to fuse .Look at this!” Sardonyx extended her two left arms ,showing the two small gems the army of monsters heading their way .
“Amethyst...Peridot.” the lovely Sardonyx kneeled before the two gems looking at her in awe .
“Fuse.”

Amethyst shyly looked at Peridot ,which was already stareing at her .Time was running out ,the monsters were 10 steps closer each second.
“But I've never fused with anybody before ,I don't even know how to.” Peridot looked down at her new robotic feet with an embarrassed expression .Just like humans do when they confess they have never had an intercourse or something like that .Sardonyx pushed Peridot a bit closer to Amethyst ,but then jumped over the army .“I need you Fluorite!” Sardonyx yells looking over her shoulder .Amethyst notices her gem glow .Peridot notices hers .It was her ,It HAS to be...
“Amethyst I-” Amethyst cut her off.
“It's you and me ,Peridot.” Amethyst held her robotic fingers .Peridot closed her eyes and lets out a long sigh.
“L-let's do this.” Peridot stuttered ,their fingers intertwined .The confused green gem followed Amethyst's slow footsteps.
Right...left...Right... left...
Peridot looked down at Amethyst's feet .The two gems began to glow a bit harder now .Both physical forms ready to become one .Lastly ,Peridot twirls Amethyst ,and she kneels on one knee to dip the shorter gem...
