James mom's car drove roughly among the road. James HATED the bus so it was a half an hour long commission to get him to school. "Ya know, if you hate being so tired in the mornings why don't you just suck it up and take the bus" his mom said angrily, she didn't drink anything to wake her up. "Mom I hate the bus! Everyone is just a big jerk there. Nobody likes me in this place!" James shouted back. "James don't you talk to me like that! I know you're still angry over this moving ordeal but that gives you no right to talk to me like that!" "I have no friends! This town is terrible!" "Son everything bad about this was all rumors!" "NO MOM IT'S REAL! AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT EVERYONE IS JUST MEAN!!" "Alright let's play a game, shut your mouth until we get to school. And you're grounded!" "MOM!" James shouted very sadly, he was only tired and cranky since the weekend was over. Time felt like it never ended. "Alright we're here. Now I decided not to ground you." His mom said. "Really? Oh thank you!" "No problem honey. Anyways take this. It's a note." "Oh? What for?" James took the note and unfolded it. "Bus pass for James Marksman". James groaned. "Hey it's better than being grounded." his mom said. James broke out crying. He didn't want to tell his mom but he was being bullied on the bus.... A lot....... James turned around and walked towards the school building. The sun dim in the distance made the sight of it look erie and distant. The flag swayed left and right, the wind was calming. Looking up with one eye shut he stared at the darkened building. "I don't know why she brings me at this time. Does she know that school had a time change?" James thought as he walked up the stairs. He heard a loud crash. James folded up the bus pass and shoved it into his hoodie pocket. Wiping the tears from his eyes he ran to attempt and open the door, not budging. James took off to the back of the building. One teacher had arrived early and left her window open. "I guess she must be using the restroom, why else would she leave her open window unattended." James thought. He grabbed onto the ledge and crawled into the classroom. He dropped onto the comfortable looking rug which actually was pretty rough. He got up with his backpack and left the classroom, and started to head to where the sound was. He saw a display case broken and a box had fallen with a lock left on the ground open. He opened the box to see a thick yellow substance oozing out. He went to touch it but took a deep breath. Bad idea. He shut the box and re attached the lock. He looked to the right about to get up and go when he saw something. Two slender objects right in front of him. As James looked up he saw his science teacher. Mrs. Gonzalo.
