Destiny is a funny thing.
People ( I ) got so focused on what they ( I ) thought was destiny.
They decide that anything beyond that, is only a distraction.
Born, eat, sleep, learn, stress, cry, grades, high school, college, career, maybe love, probably kids, retirement, die.
What is destiny?
The mark you're supposed to make on the world?
Your career?
Love?
Is anything beyond that a distraction?
What is destiny?
Where you're supposed to die?
How you're supposed to die?
Is it merely your life? "Distractions", goals, and all?
Is that destiny? Is that fate?
If that's true,
pushing you away was definitely a mistake.
My mistake.
But I guess that was our destiny.
To meet, to cross, to never see again.
You and me.
