I woke up but I kept my eyes shut for a minute and listened to the

people in the background: momma said something, in a melody, as though she were singing the unwritten words to daddy's piano songs, that he was playing. I was being held but not by momma they were too warm but not warm enough to be a puppy, so it must have been a human. I opened my eyes and saw the warm face of my pawpaw. He held me tightly in his big arms. "Pawpaw is you hungry? Because I'm hungry." he smiled and said, "Good morning sweetheart, what do you want to eat?" "Momma usually doesn't ask she just makes me something." I told him. Momma got up and said, "I've got it dad." I got up off his lap and sat by daddy on the piano stool and took the place of his hands and played his song by ear, he smiled and hugged me.

Later that day after daddy and almost everybody else left to go hunt,

I listened into the kitchen, from outside, and found momma, and

grandma talking about me, and how they had to watch me all over again, and that they would have a baby again. I walked over to the edge of the woods to where I knew they wouldn't hear me and I called my puppy dog, "Hey Nessie, Jakes not here right now, do you need something?" Seth asked. "Yeah... Jake." I hung up after I said that and heard a familiar howl off in the distance. It was Jake. I followed the howls echo and the other noices from my puppy dog, until I found him. He was with Sam the big black puppy dog. They both turned towards me and Jake came closer and layed his giant head on my little shoulder. I pet his fur and hugged his neck tightly. Sam nudged him and Jake went into the woods deeper for a moment than cane back as a person, with his black pants on. He picked me up and said, "Seth said you needed me, are you okay? And do they know you are out here alone?" I buried my face into his chest and said, "No, they don't, and no I'm not." he didn't ask any more questions, he just started heading back to grandpas house and he held onto me securly.

"Bella, Ive got Nez. She's okay." Jake said as we came into sight of

her and the house. Momma came over to us and hugged both of us in her arms but I wouldn't go to her when she tried to take me. "Baby what's wrong?" she asked me. "Nothing..." I told her in a gloomy voice and got down and went to the stream and stuck my feet in the water. I saw my aunt Alice coming from the woods and she smiled at me and came and sat down by me. "Hey sweety, what's going on?" she asked and played with my hair. "Im too little to do the things I need to do. Momma even said so I heard her. I'm sorry I'm too little I don't know how to get big. I don't remember how. Does that make me a bad girl?" She pulled me into her lap fast and said, "No, no, no. You are not a bad girl you are fine sweety. We all love you no matter what if you are a little girl or a teenager, and your mamma probally didn't mean it like that baby." she hugged me tight to her and kissed my head, I hugged her back.

When everyone was home that night we all were having family time in

the living room, aunt Rose was always quick to ask me to play with

her, and my uncle Emmet liked to play with me too. We were drawing

pictures but before I could start my second one I saw a really pretty

girl in my head, but for some reason she had a scary face on. I drew

her fast with my pencil, before I forgot, but she didn't seem to leave

my head fast. I drew every detail in her face and her pretty orange

hair. When I finished I showed aunt Rose, she froze and took the

picture to daddy. "Isnt she pretty daddy?" I asked him. "Baby... Where

did you see this from?" he asked coming to me. "In my head daddy, I
