Fleur's POV

"Fleur! Fleur! What do you think of this one?" my friend calls me out with a delighted look on her face and shows me her print-outs of random legends and myths.

Ah, seriously.. I can't believe they still haven't grown out of this phase. The last time I said that wasn't really a good memory. I remember them giving me a lecture that it wasn't a phase.. just like rebel teenagers.

I stare at her incredulously stupid print-out and reply, "This is bullshit. Why would you believe this? Look at it, there's a lot of plot holes." Honestly, are they that naive?

Aster looks at me with disgust and walks away from me as fast as she can. It was normal for her to act like that, I didn't really mind. Aster is the kind of person who'd get personally offended if you didn't like the same things as her.

I sigh to myself and continue walking to my destination, which is to the cafeteria. I was hella hungry and no one is going to stop me from eating those delicious pizzas!

Alas, things like these always had to be ruined though. As I was walking merrily to the cafeteria, Aster runs back as fast as she can and slaps the back of my head. I yelp out in pain and clutch the back of my head then proceeded to glare at her menacingly.

She stares at me back with no emotions at all, and suddenly does a hair flip. Aster is a brave girl who doesn't take shit from anyone. She is a rebel. That explains the green hair that she currently has.

She looks stunning in every hair color.

"What is wrong with you, seaweed?!" I yelled at her.

"Why are you always like that, Fleur?! Can't you at least be passionate about something in your life?!" Aster yelled back at me.

I sigh, and comb my short brown hair back. Which reminds me.. I need to cut it shorter again soon. I am a tiny 158cm girl who didn't deserve all of this and I didn't have time for this argument at all.

I didn't reply. I have nothing to reply.

Aster sighs also, then leans against one of the endless lockers on our hallway and quietly mutters, "I'm not a seaweed.."

"....Really?"

"What?"

"I thought you were going to say something serious at least." I said disappointingly.

"My hair is a serious matter." Aster snapped back at me.

"Ah, you and your narcissistic ways.."

"Just shut up already, Fleur. Let's go to the cafeteria, I'm starving." Aster shoved my shoulder and went ahead, she's such a feisty friend. I really do know how to pick them.

"I was just about to continue my journey there until you smacked my head, thank you very much. I think I have a concussion now." I murmured quietly and followed her. I didn't mind how Aster acted the way she is, I think you have to accept someone's attitude no matter how bad it is. If it does get really awful and hurtful, I usually tell her.

I stare at her back and looked at the way she walked, it was full of confidence. I should be jealous of her, but I'm fine with the way I am. I don't really want to stand out anyway.

An introvert at its finest.

Aster is also taller than me. She is a giant woman, just like Pearl and Amethyst when they fused together.

We were already near the cafeteria when she smacked my head, so our journey together didn't last that long. We order our food and sat at our usual table.
