My alarm goes off. I sit up groggily in bed, and look out the window. It's snowing! I can't believe my eyes. I thought it was a bit early for the snow to start, but I was wrong. I drag myself out of bed and check my phone. To my surprise, I got a text from someone named mom and dad. It must be a group chat. It says "Hi honey. How are you doing? Is Anna taking good care of you? Leo misses you and is crying puppy tears. He just lays in your room all day. Come home soon! The city of Spring Lake isn't the same without you! We miss and love you and can't wait to hear all about your trip to New York to see the city with Anna. Ok well text us back when you get this message. Bye Bean! Love you!!"

I try and hold back my tears but it's too hard. I cry because I can't remember my family and I know they love me, but they have a false idea of why I'm in New York! I miss my puppy Leo and I miss my hometown Spring Lake. After I'm done crying, I decide to get ready for the day.

I wash my face, do my morning routine, and go downstairs for some breakfast.

Anna is already down there, saving me a seat at a small table, her plate piled high with pancakes, waffles, fruit, cereal, and a bunch of stuff underneath. She's talking on the phone, but still finds time to wave and I wave back. I head over to the line. I get some pancakes, cereal, fruit, and some orange juice.

As I set my plate and bowl down, Anna hangs up.

"Who was that?" I ask.

"Just my family calling to say they miss me and want me to come home." she replies.

"Yeah. I got a text from my parents. They said the same thing. I miss them so much." I say as I eat my cereal and pancakes.

"Well we get to go home pretty soon. The "mission" won't take long and then you'll be able to see your family again." Anna says. She sounds irritated. I don't know why. Maybe she has family stuff going on and is jealous? If something is up at home, I don't remember if she told me.

We eat our breakfast in silence. My fruit is good. It's fresh and juicy. My pancakes remind me of when my mom made crepes.

After I'm done, before Anna, I take an apple and another bowl of cereal up to my room and just relax on my bed. I know we won't be going anywhere today so I decide to watch Netflix.

It's one p.m. I decide I want Starbucks. I grab my purse and head down the elevator and out the spinning door. Starbucks is right next to the Amway, so that's convenient. I open the door and walk inside. I stand in line, still deciding what I want to get, when I remember Anna likes Starbucks. The memory is of Anna and I at Starbucks, laughing a joking around. I have a large Mocha, and Anna a large Frappuccino with extra whipped cream.

Then it's my turn. I order a large Mocha for me and I order Anna a large Frappuccino with extra whipped cream. I head back to the Amway and up the elevator. I knock on Anna's door and when I see her eye in the peephole but she doesn't answer the door, I leave the drink on the floor and head back to my room to enjoy my Mocha.

After I finish, I decide to research fairytale agencies.

Nothing comes up. What a surprise.

I lay on my bed, and think of what to do. I decide to call my parents.

I take my phone and look in my contacts for Mom or Dad. I call my mom. It rings three times and when she answers she is ecstatic.

"Lily! Oh sweetie! We miss you so much! How are you? How is Anna?" she questions.

"Hi mom. We're both well. I miss you too!" I respond excitedly.

"That's great honey. Where are you? Are you in New York yet?" she asks again.
