The next morning, my alarm goes off at exactly four forty five. I lay in my bed for awhile. I think about what New York will be like. Loud, busy, cold. I can't wait to get going. I hop out of bed and quickly do my morning routine and get dressed. I head downstairs to breakfast. The smell fills up my nose and I carry it with me all throughout breakfast. Anna comes down a little while later. She gets her breakfast and sits down next to me.
"So when we get to New York, which will be around three in the afternoon, we'll have to get rooms in a hotel and then take the rest of the day off." she says while shoving food into her mouth.
"Ok. I still have two hundred and fifty dollars left. I think that might be enough for one small room for two nights." I reply.
"Well I have four hundred fifty dollars left so if you don't have enough I have extra. We'll leave on Wednesday since we'll get there on Monday." she responds.
We talk about New York for awhile and then decide it's time to go get packed up and catch a bus to the airport.
As I walk up the stairs to my room, I look around. The ground is decorated in beautiful designs, and there are chandeliers on every ceiling. I'm going to miss this place. The wonderful food, the elegant rooms. I spent one week with my best friend here and it was a great experience. I learned some things about our friendship and our friendship strengthened from it. It's time to say goodbye to this place and head to New York for another adventure.
