Halloween was coming up.

Pumpkins were getting carved, little kids were bouncing up and down in excitement to finally slip in their scary Halloween costumes and move from door to door, collecting sweets and mothers were cooking pumpkin soups.

Louis loved Halloween, he loved walking around on the 31st of October, looking curiously at the varieties of pumpkins. There were cute ones and scary ones, some that were already staying there for quite some time and pumpkins that were freshly carved.

Louis liked it the most when they were a few days old so they were starting to sink into themselves. It looked way more scarier.

He shoved his hands in his pockets, mouthing the lyrics to a song that was blasting through his earphones. Louis was one who couldn't control his lips from moving whenever he heard a familiar song.

He got a lot of weird looks.

Louis pulled his scarf tighter around his neck, a wide smile creeping up his face as he stepped into the Starbuck's, the smell of coffee beans and pumpkins were filling his senses.

He absolutely adored this time of the year.

A smirk was plastered on his lip as his eyes caught Harry's chestnut curly hair that was falling so soft to his shoulders. He had a thing for them, definitely.

Well, he had a whole thing for Harry in general.

He was sneaking up to him, careful that he wouldn't see him and right when Harry was about to turn, sensing something behind him, Louis was pressing his lips right to the spot underneath his earlobe, small hands holding Harry's shoulders.

"Happy Halloween."

Louis whispered, accent thick layering in his voice as Harry shrieked and it was so adorable that Louis had to laugh.

"Don't scare me Lou.. I'm a very.. Anxious person" Harry was chewing on his lip.

Earlier, he found a note from Will on the counter saying that he won't be back until tomorrow noon.

Why?

Harry was worried. He barely got home anymore, and when he did he didn't pay attention to Harry as well.

Not that Harry wasn't used to that but he still found it weird. Yet, Louis was with him now and he smiled.

"Hello though.. Happy Halloween to you, too" Harry giggled shyly and tucked some of his curls back behind his ear.

He used conditioner to make them extra shiny and soft. Just for Louis.

"Haz you have to try the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Please, do me that favour it tastes absolutely amazing." Louis breathed out, eyes wide and it was so cute to watch him.

Harry blushed.

"Okay.. But only if you let me pay for it" he raised a serious eyebrow up at Louis. He already paid so much for him..

Louis rolled his eyes but murmured something under his breath that Harry couldn't quite make out but he got up any ways, happily moving up to the counter.

This time he was prepared.

Louis watched Harry with a quirking smile, chuckling quietly as Harry was ordering two cups of their Lattes.

"Small, medium or Grande?" The lady behind the counter asked as she smacked her gum.

"Grande?" Harry mumbled and furrowed his brows before his eyes widened.

"Oh! Like Ariana Grande?" He giggled madly before he was chewing on his lip, thinking. Probably why they'd call it Grande when she was so small.

"Well.. um. Yes! Two Grande's then?"
Louis was mewling at him. How could a human being be so lovely?
